Great park for walks, working out, entertaining little ones, good parking , tennis - however cafe lets itself down - could be so much more, i would love to see it buzzing.
Very large area with green grass and children’ s play areas with a small restaurant . Early this month we walked 7 km with the park
Huge outdoor space , lots of different areas and park types, with woodland to meadow to playing fields . Lovely views and linked to gravel hill forest .
Large park excellent for a picnic or for a good game of football .

There is am excellent disc golf course here, costs nothing to play!
Parkrun - free 5k timed runs - takes place here every Saturday at 9am (sharp!).

If the tram is 12mins or more away you might want to your luck at walking to East Croydon , often you'll reach their before that tram !
If the trams aren't running, walk down to Park Hill Road to catch a bus into East Croydon . Head past Lloyd Park Avenue and go for about 5 minutes.
If you see a tram in the distance you should be able to make it if you run tried and tested method
