Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Visitor Center

Much stingier on their macadamia nut samples as compared to the Hamakua MAC Nut Factory tour but good none the less. Enjoyed seeing workers on factory line .

A nice short stop. You get to try all the flavors of mac nuts , take a few minutes to watch the workers in the factory working, buy your souveniers and grab some Mac Nut ( vanilla or choc ) ice cream

Self guided through the glass factory tour , plenty of free nut & coffee samples in the visitors' center. Cute classic postcards & gift merchandise. Forget what others say & go, buy, enjoy.

Cafe serves great ice cream . Try the coconut flavor .

Every flavor you can imagine. Personal favorites were toffee and honey roasted

Great stop if it is raining. Especially if you get there when tour buses are not there. Ice cream is fine but not wondrous. Nuts maybe cheaper at Walmart or Base Exchange but you won't find variety.

The snacks/gifts here are MUCH fresher than at the other stores on the island .

Maui Onion & Garlic Mac Nuts is my favorite.

Try the mango ice-cream. Scoops are huge..
