Hunterian Museum

An absolute gem of a museum . Hidden away is an impressive little display of specimens of both humans and animals alike. Will make for interesting sketches and is educational too!

Mariliis Retter

Brilliant museum for testing your limits. If the jars full of dissected animals and body parts don't faze you, make sure to check out the selection of close-up surgery videos on the 2nd floor.

Kit&kafoodle

Freakin' awesome museum . Very interesting, especially pathological processes through each organ and different animals. Nice history on surgery and surgeons of Britain.

Basically, it is SO gross, but SO cool. I couldn't stop exploring. I would love to go back and bring my sketch book next time. Very interesting.

Been meaning to go here for along time. Very interesting, but not for every one. You should have an idea of what to expect before going, or run screaming from the specimen jars!

Anastasia

Rather quiet and peaceful (as far as you can call a place full of skeletons and pickled guts "peaceful "). A true gem for the curious ones.

Love it here!! A real eye opener of how medical procedures have advanced over the years and how amazing the origins of them are. Makes you really appreciate the fantastic work of Surgeons.
