Lincoln's Inn Fields is the largest public square in London. It was laid out in the 1630s under the initiative of the speculative builder and contractor William Newton, "the first in a long series of entrepreneurs who took a hand in developing London", as Sir Nikolaus Pevsner observes.

Laid out in the 1630s, this is the largest public square in London . Anthony Babbington, who led a plot to assassinate Queen Elizabeth I, was hanged, drawn and quartered here.
Great for relaxing with friends and a game of Rounders. Also an on-site cafe and tennis courts available for hire. Stone throw away from Holborn tube station and in the heart of legal London.
It's a hidden gem I believe. Very good if you're out and about showing someone around London and want to catch some sun rays in quiet place in central London.
A lovely and hidden Park in the centre of London, great for lunch in the park with the plenty of open space and benches around. Lovely and very scenic setting.
You won’t believe how quiet this park is on a morning, and yet so close to Holborn and Covent Garden . I went running there, when I stayed at the Hoxton. Very relaxing.
Look out for the plaque where they hung a lord and also the tree that was planted for queen Elizabeth 's coronation in 1953.
beautiful park & relaxed people - definately worth for a short break, if you are around covent garden .
Lovely hidden cafe inside the park - perfect for coffee and cake or lunch . Glorious in the sunshine
There's some really nice hidden gardens round here somewhere in Bloomsbury but I can't remember and can never find them so I always come here instead... it's still good though!
