The Stuffed French toast is everything! You might have to stand in line to get a seat but it's worth it plus they sometimes offer sweets for people in line . Their fruits are fresh and extra good.
Great service. We had a little chat with waiter and told her that we on honeymoon in La Jolla. In 10 minutes she brought us a piece of cake as a sweet compliment from the restaurant . It was very nice!
Stuffed French toast is great and more than enough...just make sure to share it with someone or have your partner get something with eggs , meat, etc. if you want more than just delicious French Toast .
My recommendation: Don't eat for 3 days and order every single thing on the menu. Delicious food!! French toast is out of this world, but the scone with their watermelon homemade jam blew my mind.
We are here for breakfast (served till 3pm on Sat) They take your name and number and text you to be seated. The order was stuffed French toast and La Jolla Benedict . They were yummy and big portions .
Sitting on the terrasse was lovely. Our waiters were very nice. We really enjoyed the food, from the avocado mash to eggs Benedict and the pancakes . You need to try the iced Mexican Mocha !
The fruit bowl is one of the only ones I've seen worthy of being called a BOWL. Huge amount of fruit , berries , melons , and citrus . Reasonable price and the scones are amazing. The staff is super sweet
Food was delicious! Coffee was good but my friend’s Mexican Mocha was even better! If you’re looking into a breakfast or brunch place this is a must go!
Everything we had was amazing! Mexicali, La Jolla eggs and stuffed French toast . I loved my Mexican mocha , totally recommend it here. A few flys but nothing in there control.
Service was wonderful, went in to try for first time & it was pretty great! Stuffed French toast IS AMAZING! Appreciated the service & overall will definitely go back to try something else on the menu!
I came here with a friend yesterday and I had to bring my husband today! The polenta Benedict is to die for, and they make the best French toast , it's isn't too eggy! The scones are amazing!
Great place for Sunday breakfast in the Cove. La Jolla Cove is right across the street. Try the different kinds of Pancakes . The place will make you fell as if you are in A small New England home.
The chicken hash here is so yummy and tastes healthy. My sister got the lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes and they were perfect!! Definitely a great place for brunch .
Nice patio seating to enjoy the beautiful SD weather and tons of great egg creations for a hearty breakfast . Even on a weekday its poppin in the morning
Half and half La Jolla benedict and stuffed french toast , fantastic.
Pass on classic options. This place knows how to do sweet breakfast well ! Brioche French toast melts in your mouth. Scone + jam = deliciousness.
I like the place and the food! And they have a fresh orange juice which i normally cant find in America
Polenta eggs Benedict was spot-on and original. The goat cheese added a savory side to the sweet polenta and perfectly cooked poached eggs .
Great place for family, friend, also best food and excellent hospitality from The Cottage staff
My favorite breakfast place in San Diego, delicious french toast & my wife loves their oatmeal !
The kids' pancake is huge and delicious! My kids love it. I don't think I have ever had a bad meal here. And their granola is FAB - take a bag home or to give as a gift -- you won't regret it!
Benny and French toast varietals are all strong, but the chilaquiles are something special. ask for the chalula sauce as they come to the table a bit under seasoned.
The eggs Benedict are delicious! The home fries are great too. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside with a hint of spice.
It is a big portion for the stuffed french toast . Im liking the burnt crunchy edges of the bread . ????
Both of the brioche & stuffed French toast were super delicious ????
One of the best breakfast places I have ever eaten at. Waffles are amazing. Omelettes are also incredible
Good french toast
Godly brunch ... Get the polenta benedict if you're looking for something a little different
the simple menu and freshness of ingredients makes this one of my top breakfast ! but was it worth the wait? im not sure
Vanilla latte is to die for !!
Eggs La Jolla is great here and the scones are pretty good too!
Great find with a nice relaxing vibe , great menu at the right price. The fish in the fish tacos is grilled rather than fried; nice & light. AND they have a Dyson Airblade in the bathroom . Awesome.
Stuffed french toast with marscapone cheese !!! La jolla Benedict !! Really cute . Waited an hour at 2pm on a Sunday but they give coffee&coffee cake while u wait and nice scenery to walk around.
Great vegan/vegetarian options! Outdoor seating , all masked up staff . ????????
Eggs benedict are great. Try with crab , and maybe without tomato to keep the muffins from getting soggy.
I loveee the greek yogurth bowl with berries . Hands down best breakfasts in La Jolla ????????
Lovely environment
You can order half Benedict 's and half batters. The crab Benedict is legit! And don't forget single orders of the French toast .
The tangerine mimosa and Crabcake Eggs Benedict are delish!
Come here for great food and fast service . The bus boys are amazingly speedy and they keep your water glass full.
Ask for half and half if you can't decide between 2! ????
They let you go half & half on the Eggs Benny! I went California & Crab Cake ????????
Chorizo Hash was great. Super attentive and friendly staff . Just an excellent experience.
Best french toast I had in USA, fantastic !!
I highly recommend the crab cake salad - delish! Although, I kinda wanted to take a bite of every person's meal sitting out on the patio . Go here on any sunny day and you won't be disappointed.
The best muffins in the world !!!! I love the raspberry millet and the King Kong
Half order of the Eggs Benedict with one slice of the stuffed French Toast was heavenly!
Get here early to avoid crowds. Order the California Benedict or the Country French Toast . Insanely delish!
Incredible fresh and tasty fruits and granola !
