The Whaley House Museum

The Whaley House is said to be the most haunted house in the U.S. The Museum offers a late night paranormal investigation tour every last weekend of the month, co-hosted by The San Diego Ghost Hunters

Very enjoyable self-guided tour of a historical (and supposedly haunted) house. Knowledgable and friendly docents .

Fun place to walk around. Strange things kept happening while I was walking around. Felt like someone kept touching my hair, then afterwards the guide told us Mr. Whaley is known for that! Spooky!

So cool want to come back when they do the evening tours . So much history for San Diego. A must along with the Cosmopolitan Hotel .

We came here for an evening tour . They rush thru and you barely get a chance to ask questions or take pictures. They have another tour trailing right behind you and should really space the tours out.

We already knew it was haunted, but didn't know it used to be a granary, County Court House, San Diego’s first commercial theater , a ballroom , a billiard hall, school, & a polling place ! Cool stuff :)

Docents love to chat and answer questions. Go when they first open and you will have the place to yourself!

Great to visit at night with Gas Lamps lit ????

Nothing is better than the Whaleys' garden . The pepper trees provide such a nice shade and the hydrangeas are HUGE!

I had a few instances of strange things happening here. My camera kept turning red in the view screen when I've never had that happen before. I also felt like someone pulled my hair in the courtroom .

It's haunted, lots of history, great tour !

If you live in San Diego, visiting the Whaley House is a must. Cool history & spooky!

As soon as you walk in you can feel the energy.....is it the house or is it your mind just playing with you ;-)

I had an eerie encounter in the courtroom , I heard a voice whisper across the room and nobody was there, also heard sounds of chairs sliding but nothing was moving.

Great museum w/ lots of history & ghostly fun.

It's probably better to go at night for maximum creepiness. Daylight is disarming to ghostly activity I think.

Just like the History Channel, I highly recommend the SD Ghost Hunters tour . Very fun!
