Hyatt Place San Jose/Downtown

Today, Hyatt Place was impressive with the customer service and decor! Impressed!!

Conveniently located San Jose downtown. Room was clean and cozy even the building itself was shabby. You have to bear airplane landing/take-off noise at San Jose Airport .

Breakfast is good and free. Staff needs to divide time between the front desk and the bar , though. They do have a microwave to heat up food in the lobby and the rooms have fridges .

Breakfast is very understaffed. Three days in a row (one of them being a Saturday) things were empty with more than an hour left in the breakfast hours. Their response 'we are done for today'.

Pretty cool spot in downtown San Jose. Not far from the SAP Center.

Breakfast bar in the morning is excellent!! I wish there was a jacuzzi !!

Breakfast is fantastic and the coffee is great!!!!

Nice place. Mod. Not too swank. They gave me water when I walked in. Neat linoleum in the bathroom . Mostly natural fiber bedding. Cool.

The toilets have waterless tanks-- don't flush gently. PUSH IT REAL GOOD!

Watch out when it's WD Youth Convention . Things get crazy, but they're getting life-building moments.

The elevators are painfully slow. Ask for a low floor. You have the option of using the stairs.

Lipstick on a pig . Nice chain in an old building that shoes its age thru the paint.

Excellent free breakfasts

Skip. This hotel is right below the flight path. Great location, but noisy and old. Desperately needs an update. Free gym and breakfast is okay..

Ambiance is chic . Walking distance to nice cafe and restaurants off of Market and First St.

Free breakfast until 10:00? YES PLEASE

Leave extra time if you're using the elevators .

Make yourself a bacon cup to go!

It was a nice weekend and this hotel completed it.

Airplanes into SJC landing north fly directly over this hotel about 2K feet up

Waiting 20 minutes to be served a pathetic, small salad . Skimpy on the wine , margarita served in a martini glass. Will NOT return.
