Beantown Pub

Smallish bar with a lively afterwork crowd. Great before a show at the Orpheum. The only place in Boston where you can have a Sam Adams across from his grave.

Great place! Reminds us of a few hometown pubs in Cleveland!!! Asked if they would have the browns game on an didn't get a snappy witty comment back!!! We will definitely be in to watch our browns!!!

Get the nachos with chili - they're epic! But don't touch the top plate because it'll burn flesh in a millisecond. You've been warned.

Great place to have a drink downtown Boston, the music was just aweful when we were there. Grab a Sam Adams and look across the street at Sam Adams grave.

Popular with tourists right next to Suffolk University , Boston Common, The Freedom Trail , Granary Burial Ground (Paul Revere and other notable dead people). Good beer and service.

Probably one of the most underrated lobster roll in Boston. It is literally a whole lobster and not weighed down with mayo . Sooooo delicious!

They serve a handful of Sam Adams beers that you can only get in Boston, including one they brew specifically for the pub . Server with a Scottish accent...yep :-)

This would be my neighborhood bar if I lived downtown. Typical bar fare, but the beers are where it's at.

Dermot makes the bloody mary mix from scratch (the secret ingredient is A1 sauce!). Nothing like a grilled cheese at 12:55- they serve till 1am!

Good food and fun people there if you have a sandwich share it because it big and good way to save money

Tunnel past the bar , down to the pool tables , and up to the other side. Usually way less crowded there.

The BBQ Wings here have a little bit of a spicy kick to them, love them :-)

This is not a hot night spot. If you stay there till closing they have a "freeze out" where they open all the windows and doors in the middle of winter and try to kick you out. Very aggressive people

Mike the bartender is a solid guy- knows the menu, great service and provides great recs for places to go in the area

Burger and lobster roll were good enough to Warren a second visit

Try the sweet potato fries but ask for the side! If you get the full order it's like $7 but the side is more than enough for only $2.50.

Try the The Paul Reevere - A pastrami sandwich . It was delicious. With a side of baked bean it was a perfect Boston treat.

Went here when I was in college. Will the bartender is great. Tell him "to cream sent u!!"

Btw: We're in the Beantown Pub right now. And they are blasting the Thong Song at top volume.

The beer is good. The staff is a little touchy.

The Paul Revere sandwich is just insane. Pastrami & corned beef . Amazing. Becareful though they charge for soda refills which is a bit cheap if you ask me. They should be free.
