Orpheum Theatre is a music venue Downtown Boston Boston located in United States.
1 Hamilton Pl (Tremont St) Boston , MA 02108 United States
One of the oldest theaters in USA, it was built in 1852 & originally known as the Boston Music Hall. It was converted for use as a vaudeville theater in 1900 & renamed in 1906 as The Orpheum Theater !
Great venue for shows, no bad seats in the house and it's beautiful from floor to ceiling. Beer prices are a bit crazy so have a few before you arrive!!!
Acoustics are great in this Historic Theater . Great place to catch a concert .
It always gets insanely hot. Try to get seats on the bottom floor, and make sure you can remove layers of clothes
They have 16oz cans of Narraganset, B-Light, and Heineken for $6 at the bar towards the back on the right in the lobby. Best deal on booze in the house.
Check their schedule early as they have a variety of acts all year round.
It’s old and rundown. And the balcony seats are specially uncomfortable. But I like it. And they have some nice events there.
If you are taller than 5'2" be careful.. There is NO leg room in the balcony . But the old feel of the theatre is awesome!
This is an older theater so the seats are fairly small with very limited leg room .
Be prepared to stand throughout the concert . Most people are. The seating is tight. Not much elbow room. There is a concession stand in the lobby. The venue is up close and personal.
FYI...don't mess with the staff ! They've been working here since the dawn of time...and they DON'T care about your plight, show, or safety as they throw you into the back alley!
Nice theater , but weirdly placed bars and bathrooms make them inconvenient to get to.
Anyone notice how crazy/scary the ushers are here? Even when you return to your seat you get the f-bomb dropped on you and you get interrogated...
Sit in the middle for the best sound, lacks on the sides.
Great views even from the balcony .
Don' even think of messing with the bouncers or staff ...they've been here since the dawn of time and don't care about your plight or show!
Buy your tickets here for Paradise and House of Blues events instead of through Ticketmaster, theres no fees!
Overpriced drinks and a questionable structural integrity... Welcome to the Orpheum! Don't forget to pre-game to save big bucks
Such a lovely old building ... Small seats though
best guy ever
the shaking balcony is frightening, but the view is awesome.
Consider shrinking. Seats are not made for adults born after 1920.
Do unsavory things in the shadows while listening to one of your favorite bands play live. Yes, that's me.
Good shows, nice acoustics , but the place is a shithole.
Make sure the person in front of u doesn't have an Afro if u wanna see the show
So nostalgic
Saw Hillsong United! What a show! Next time they're in town , see them!
The coors light tastes like laundry detergent. Lovely.
Tickets for House of Blues & the Paradise also sold here
Don't set your $10 beer down on the floor. You will spill it. The isles are way too narrow and even if you're not dancing , it'll end up in a sad, sad puddle around you feet.
Gorgeous antique feel. My first "sit down" concert .
Drink before you get here. $12 for a 24 ounce PBR .
The staff is miserable!!
Always a good show..
See a Miracle on Tremont St.
Beer is expensive . Smuggle instead.
Pat metheny rocks here...
Beer is WAY overpriced.
sit next to old people and make friends
Great venue, but be wary of slow beer lines (some vendors are more efficient than others) - Blake Sirach
They have a box seating, which is very nice! You will be treated as VIP, with your own bar, toilet and butler. Not bad for the price and you have a good view of the stage. - Roma Niduaza
If you visit here during Baseball season, they have a $5 menu that is available between first and last pitch. It's a limited menu, but everything's $5 or less. Tasty, and worth every penny! - Rob Sheppard
Really nice park to visit although quite small in size. It's haunted as well so you might see some friendly spirits! - Hayley Cooper
BBQ pork sandwich and Burger simply amazing, among best ever, go for it hand down. - Vladimiro Mazzotti
