Beach is literally right on the property. Awesome resort ! The whole place is picture perfect. Very close to several shopping centers.

Great beach access for snorkeling , surfing , SUP and swimming , or just for lounging .
Hale 1 is best for ocean views . Avoid pool side on Hale 8 if you prefer more peace and quiet . And be sure to check out the daily activities. :)
Best ocean view from the bar . Superior to the view from Marriott or Sheraton. Also very low key atmosphere. Love it!
Don't rent a car when you come to the island if you stay here. The resort just installed 3 electric vehicle charging stations with vehicles to rent for $15 per hour (ZipCar style).
For only $15 for the week you can rent snorkeling gear ! Lots of beautiful fish in the bay ! My kids are loving it!
Kitchens newly renovated and great, new communal grills. definitely hit up Big Save and cook!
Surfing right in front and lots for the kids to do.
Book hale # 1 or 8 to have the best views of the beach and pool
Swing by the front desk every now and then for some free fresh juice

Sit in the bar area , live music and they offer both menus, restaurant portion only offers one menu, bar area is kid friendly and fish tacos are amazing. Traditional Hula pie for dessert is a must. - California Coating
