Take note that for most of the popular stalls, there is a queue to order your food (approx 15mins) and there is a waiting time for your food to be ready (approx 15mns to 45mins depending on stall).
Prawn mee soup is yummy, other food so so only. Though closing time @ 10.30pm, stalls all cleared up @ 9.30pm, making u so paisey to approach n some stalls were alr closed.
Top favourites are 1) Claypot rice . Always get the one with salted fish 2) fried kuay Teow 3) satay and top everything off with beer .
I trier cuttlefish plate and really enjoyed. Many different selections you have. It is really fine
Closed every Wednesday. Plenty of seating. The Cuttlefish Kang Kong and Prawn Noodles here are good. Everything is self-service.
Many stalls with Malaysian food of varying quality. Prices are what you'd expect in a theme park ; the Ang Mo Kio outlet was cheaper with more stalls open.
Seems everything here is awesome! Tried Bak Kut Teh , chicken clay pot and char kway !
Surprisingly the foods are as good as in Malaysia Pg and Kl. The good part is much better cleanliness. Thumbs up.
The food here were way better than expected , especially the Penang Assam laksa , claypot rice , the Ah Mei prawn noodle and the Lor Mee !
Fave: satay ; skip: iced milo
Portion was small but food was delicious! Ah Mei Hokkien Prawn Mee is highly recommended!
A variety of Malaysian street food .
Fried hokkien mee probably the closest one you can get to the KL one in Singapore.
Try the hokkien noodles . It's different from Singapore style and super yummy!
Try the Penang curry mee . Love the chili !
they have 2 hahal stalls here for Muslims. 1 Roti Canai stall & 1 Nasi Lemak stall. gd enuff!
Ah Mei Hokkien Prawn Mee is indeed tasty. Soup is delicious.
Hokkien mee queue is so long! Btw there r 2 hokkien mee stall. One soup based and the other one fried. Make sure u queued the correct one!
Claypot chicken rice is great. Share the large one with someone
Love the charred bits from the bottom of the claypot .
Must try : Hokkien Prawn noodle soup , Bak Kut Teh and Claypot Chicken rice
Tasty expensive hawker food.
The Claypot Chicken Rice are good but always overcooked...when u collect the food quickly separate the rice to another plate to prevent overcooked or burned rice !!
Cashless implementation awful. Order & pay online but they don't accept Amex (they did in person). Food selection did not match what was available. Took super long to order & you needed an OTP
I think the best stores are the Penang Ah Mei Prawn Mee and the wanton Nee store.
Try the fried lou see fun. It's underated compared to the more popular fried hokkien mee . But be prepared to wait.
The curry mee was awesome
Only the wanton mee and char kway teow is worth having.
If you can come before 18:30. More space and better quality.
Had to wait 2hr for the claypot , chendol is sold out.. And wonton me was pretty good.. Not too bad despite the mad crowd :)
Chicken clay pot rice large portion can b shared for 3ppl
Come early for the charcoal claypot , sells out fast! (Cooking wait time is 45mins to 1hr)
Please note that malaysia food street is closed on every wednesday.
The chicken rice is excellent! Better than wee nam kee!
Try the prawn noodle soup . Best of all the stalls. Char kuay teow is salty, not very nice.
The clay pot rice is okay. Prices are also reasonable.
Can use the $5 voucher got from the entry tickets at the aquarium .
Chendol from dessert store is good!
Chicken rice balls were new to me and tasted okay. Other than that, a slightly overpriced chicken rice for such a small portion and so-so taste.
If you must have dessert , don't take ice kacang. The chin chow has a minty taste. I felt like I was having medicated oil.
Try this Clay Pot Chicken Rice ????
I am giving an average rating just because one of the staff was nice. Otherwise, food is average. Price, I guess you can figure yourself ;)
The best Malaysian food is Singapore...
Wonton noodles ! Be prepared to queue though...
Penang laksa is authentic
Yummy Char Kuay Teow !
mutton briyani is nice, spicy n tender!
Clay pot rice is damn good ! But newd to wait very long !
The only way to ensure all stalls are open is to come on weekend.
Unfortunately doesn't match up to true blue Malaysian standards.
This was good, with many big chunks of crispy lard. The ingredients were generous & there was a good wok flavour. - Gabriel Seah
I didn't taste the salted fish at all :( - Mel Cendana
The egg milkcurd is silky, smooth and delicious. Just ask for less sugar syrup. - Vignesh Kathiravelu
Nice & value for money buns here - 1.20 each or 3 at $1 each. The apple bun is especially delicious. - pin lee
Awesome place to hang out with friends. Go during the weekdays would be best. - ᴋᴍʏ
The aquarium are very clean and you can see all the corals and fishes very clearly...it's worth a visit ???????? - Jayne
COME TRY DIAN XIAO ER'S HERBAL ROASTED CRISPY SKIN DUCK AND A VARIETY OF OTHER DISHED INCLUDING FRIED COD FISH. U WILL NOT REGRET IT - Janson Tan
