Amazing site with great access to the temple and Acropolis views . Great first stop for buying your tickets to all the sites and skipping the line at the Acropolis.
Absolutely stunning! A must-visit. Buy the 30€ ticket which includes Acropolis and 4 more archeological sites. So you can skip the line there.
Incredibly impressive. Great view of the sun setting over the Acropolis. Got in for free on a Saturday evening. Not sure how.
Great place and it's part of the 30 euro pack for ancient ruins and you can also take some great photos of acropolis from here as background
We visited it in the middle of the day, and it was not crowded . It is also an excellent option to buy Acropolis joint tickets to escape the long queue there.
Walking distance of 10-15min away from Acropolis. Very ancient and quite impressive. Takes 20-30 min to walk around the remnant columns. A must-see attraction .
Everything that’s inside you can see from outside. No doubt that it’s an epic historic place, but the entrance fee isn’t worth it.
Obviously great piece of history; although a little bit underwhelming compared to all the other marvels in Athens. If you are around go see it but I wouldn't go out of my way for this one.
Contruction work took 638 years to complete. Was destroyed in the 3rd century AD after being pillaged in a Barbarian invasion.
Great place.. Acropolis is behind it.. You get free ticket if you show your student card .
Go here before Acropolis and buy a package-ticket for 30€ here. You will skip neverending queues in Acropolis ticket-office.
Honestly BEAUTIFUL! So large-scale and majestic. definitely top-10 worth seeing in Athens
Worth walking around if you got the extended Acropolis ticket that allows access

Pretty much a ruin but it’s one of the 7 Wonders So you’ve got to see it!
The most impressive of the sites after Acropolis in Athens! Worth a visit with the multi-pass.
Except the historic monument , it's a great scenery for summer movie screening! Athens open air film festival ftw!
Temple dedicated to Zeus; but looks like a last turn of giant Jenga game :) You should keep your ticket from the Acropolis to enter.
Easily the most amazing sight of the trip. Better than the columns on the Acropolis or otherwise. ????
There is evidence that Zeus was worshipped at the site from the beginning of the 6th century BC ., when work to construct the monumental temple began.
Love it. With Acropolis and Temple of Hephaistos one of the three must-see places in Athens :)
It’s just a few columns. Still the best ruin in Athens :) the park it’s in is good too.
A colossal ruined temple in the centre of Athens that was dedicated to Zeus, king of the Olympian gods. Begun in the 6th century BC .
A nice place, I remember Perspolis in Iran
It is not about Greek mythology , its about architecture that times! ❤️
Impressive architecture although seems somewhat less atmospheric than some of the other ancient sights...
After Temple of Zeus go to the Athens national garden and look the biggest trees and go to the building of Hellas Parliament
Awesome! Make sure you walk around it. From the other side the view is better
Take a pic from the outside and continue your tri
Very interesting place!
Very interesting! Do not forget about several buildings beyond the temple
If only few phenomenon things in the world ???? this is definitely one of them.!! Breath taking.

Beautiful temple ...with a view of the Acropolis from here.
Well worth the admission.

It was really hot outside with no shade cover. Not worth the visit unless you have a guide talking off your ear.
Building started at 515 BC by Pisistratos, but it was completed finally at 129AD by the Roman Emperor Adrian.
Amazing! A must go.
Your Acropolis tkt can get you in. If not, you can see everything from the gate.
It does not take long to see this landmark , but definitely worth seeing.
TRAVEL FACT: The fallen column at the Temple of Olympian Zeus was a result of a thunderstorm about a century ago.
Such a disappointment, you can see lt outside as well
Looks nice from the inside but do not think it worth to inside.
