国会議事堂みたいな小さい建物が駅跡として有名ですが、道を挟んで向かい側にもちょっと地味な建物があります。それがもう一つの入口です。よく見ると恐らく｢ヤシンデイセイケ｣と掲げられていたであろう文字の跡が残っています。
駅として機能していた時代は、４両編成分しかホームがありませんでした。
遺跡の中で行われるイベント は、行ければ貴重なものです！
1933 年開業、2004 年廃止。ネオ・ルネッサンス様式の駅舎は鉄道省建築 課の手によるもの。
