The Horseshoe

This is the greatest pub in London. Fact. Wonderful food, top beer selection , excellent vibe. But after countless visits over 5 years, I have to admit the service is utterly shambolic. Love ya Horsie.

Terrific beer selection (unsurprising — this is the home of the Camden Town Brewery ) and a great vibe. The food is good, but not cheap .

Amazing roasts, great atmosphere, great decor, great staff . And cheap ! Perfect lazy Sunday joint.

Excellent choice of craft beers , one of the only places in Hampstead with a few seats left on Saturday.

The revamped horseshoe is great. Menu in bar is schnitzel and wurst the spatzle side is great - add leeks .

Seriously love The Horseshoe. Great atmosphrere, great location, great place and nice decor too... A Gastro Pub with character....

The steak may get the accolades but I bring everyone here for the fish & chips - not greasy like a chippy at all and def one of the best in town

At lunch time they serve complementary fresh baked bread just with butter, salt and pepper...delicious. Lunch itself was perfect too.

Couldn't stop nodding my head to the chilled out classics whilst waiting to be served. The service leaves something to be desired..however the vast selection of beer and haddock is to be tried!!

Ham hock to start followed by steak & chips . Can't go wrong. Great but limited menu.

Great selection of craft beers and the eggs royale was great for lunch at £8

Strawberry ???? is great, food is decent and interior is modern and clean .

Steak and truffled chips was pretty good. Fish and chips awesome.

Great atmosphere and dog friendly too. We had Sunday roast which wasn't great but not terrible either.

Eat in the front area and always err towards the special board if undecided on the menu.

Food balanced between mediocre and no taste for all in our group. Staff was not helpful, did not even come back to say “no” to our query. I’d only come back here for drinks if nothing else is open

The wheat beer on draft was so good.. Unfortunately they don't have it anymore.

What used to be the greatest pub in London has been give a mediocre hipster refurb. The service has, somehow, become even more spectacularly awful than it always was. Such a shame.

Lovely local place with great food but unfortuneately the service leaves a lot to be desired.

Sunday Roast is average. Great meat but potatoes and Yorkshire puddings are reheated. Overpriced at £15

Terrible. 40 minutes to get some eggs . Never told why it was delayed. When I complained they said 'new chef ' and then 'stove broken'. Food was then delivered cold. Rubbish place.

Food is overpriced & poor. Service is even worse. Despite advertising at the front to say they show the football , I don't recommend!
