Lovely running path by the river , but keep your eyes peeled for water fountains . They’re few and far between

So I've lived in Manhattan for 20+ years, but didn't discover this until I left? Definitely one of the best parks in Manhattan--the Upper West Side's version of the High Line , only closer to the water
We love to go to this place, everyday :) either for the morning walk or roaming around or eat out at Pier-I cafe .

Best park to walk and explore around Upper West Manhattan. It's gorgeous during summers.

If you don't feel like leaving the UWS on a sunny weekend, you can go here and kinda pretend like you're lounging at the beach , if you don't mind the lack of sand, swimmable water, etc.
