Perfect spot for a long run along the Hudson . Run south down to Battery Park for views of the Statue of Liberty. Run north towards GW for Pier I, boat basin and public art projects.
Lovely running path by the river , but keep your eyes peeled for water fountains . They’re few and far between

So I've lived in Manhattan for 20+ years, but didn't discover this until I left? Definitely one of the best parks in Manhattan--the Upper West Side's version of the High Line , only closer to the water
