I can always judge a restaurant by its bread ... and they had amazing warm sourdough served with oil! Also, Mango Chicken Salad was amazing (balsamic dressing to die for)!
Wonderful food! Complimentary bread and pastry basket at sitting as you prepare for good eats. Everything on the menu is great, even the desserts .
Split the mango chicken salad & Murphy burger . The food was PHENOMENAL. Ordered Arnold Palmer - safe to say it was the best one I've ever had. Fresh-squeezed lemonade . The Bonzo is a decadent treat!
Mac & Cheese with Brisket sandwich was on point. I had Salmon with spinach . The sauce that came with it was spicy & sweet. It was very tasty ????.
Prefer brunch to their dinner - great option for a group. expect a wait for weekend brunch . Patio seating available and also good for walking in and grabbing a seat at the bar
The menu items are modern but full of history and feature fresh, local ingredients . Go for weekend brunch and walk around Virginia Highlands afterward. [Eater 38 Member]
Lovely ambiance and delicious food. Try the Giesen sauvignon blanc with the summer fresh tortellini . Divine! And my personal favourite: carrot cake !
Great caesar salad . The lunch combo (1/2 soup , 1/2 salad , and full sandwich ) is the most food for your money I've seen in Atlanta. What's even better is that the food is great on top of that.
Chef Ian Winslade instills gaelic influences on Murphy’s classic Southern cuisine . Smoked haddock , leeks , potatoes and onions swim in the cream-based soup Finnan Haddie Soup . Read more
While I enjoy the wine bar for a quiet conversation. This is a lovely spot for brunch . It is convenient located near the best shops the Virginia-Highlands area has to offer.
Murphy's is an American contemporary restaurant , bakery and wine shop that's been serving up comfort food for 30 years in the Va-Hi neighborhood .
I wasn't a big fan of the bloody mary but the mimosa and bellini were great. Egg white portobello frittata with goat cheese was fantastic. Make sure to try the biscuits and muffins !
I can't BELIEVE this place! I passed by it soooo many times and it looks like another "dive with a tent out front." But it is absolutely cosmopolitan inside. Great service as well . Score at MURPHY'S!
Great coffee and wonderful presentation. Just need to add a little more seasoning, methinks...
Phenomenal customer service!! Complimentary valet ! So impressed! However, only 3 seafood items are sustainable. Still enjoyed might but missed out on some of my fav meals bc not sustainable
Guinness braised beef brisket was outstanding!! Great wine selection . Friendly and attentive service . Highly recommend this place. Go if you can.
Surprised that the crab cake Benedict didn't have an English muffin . However if comes with cheese grits . The best thing though were the chocolate chip muffins they bring out with the biscuits .
The Linda omelette & Malted waffle are EXCELLENT!! Don't get too full on biscuit & muffins
The go-to place for brunch in Atlanta . Great food, great service and great atmosphere for everyone and for all occasions.
Try the Bread Bakery : Chocolate Muffin & Biscuits with assorted Jellies And Fresh Butter - Everything made in house!
They don't take reservations for brunch , but it's worth the wait. Crab cake benedict is soooo good!
Brunch is great. Bread basket is ????. Cinnamon buns worth a try as well .
Without a doubt the best place in Atlanta for brunch . Bloody Mary's are to die for.
Has been here a long time. A great classic place--for for bringing older family members.
Nice restaurante and atmosphere but very pricey for the food and the amount you get. They also have beers for $7.
Very friendly service ! Eggs T. Murphy (classic Benedict) and the corned beef hash are excellent.
Grab a mimosa while you wait. The muffins are amazing as well as the eggs mulligan during brunch . Great service!
One of the best bunches spots in ATL - expect a long wait , but it's worth it. The french toast is excellent.
The one time I wanted to try their pork chops ...it is no longer on the menu :-( So I had the shrimp and grits instead...and loved it!!

Consistently great food. Shrimp Cobb salad with Avacado was great!
Murphy's used to be located next to Highland Hardware (now a parking lot ) and was called "Murphy's 'Round the Corner". It's current location was a 7-11 and an antique store .
Try thr chilaquiles and the corned beef hash
Truffle mac and cheese is incredible! Not on the lunch menu , but they'll make it if you ask nicely :)
Great place to hang out and great service. The meatloaf is pretty good.
Murphy's has one of the best brunches and wine sections in the city .
The spinach & sausage meatloaf is delicious and perfectly sized. Not too heavy for lunch .
A friend recommended the brisket and I shall pass the torch. Get the brisket !
Everything was delicious. Tip: Thirsty Thursdays 3 1/2 glasses of wine for $14.
Try the Mushroom Ravioli with apples and caramel . Delicious!! #atlanta #food #dining
Best cheesecake I had outside of NY, yet
Nice ambiance, but I wasn't all that blown away by the food. Tasty drinks at the bar and good wine list .
A grand mimosa is the best kind of mimosa . It won't disappoint.
Come early! Very crowed!
