Element New York Times Square West

Nice room with kitchenette , gorgeous view of city and water, free happy hour was awesome with wine beer and apps the view from the rooftop terrace was outstanding! Would def recommend!

Great location, nice view on upper levels, within walking distance of Times Square/Broadway, clean and modern, kitchenettes , no room service , cocktail hours in lobby, tv has dvd player/HDMI/USB.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Yes the elevators can be seriously slow. But sometimes they're pretty quick. I like being a few blocks away from Times Square. This is a nicely, quieter area.

Excellent hotel , great staff , good breakfast and extremelly fast wifi ! Ask for a top floor and a room with a view ! Close to the Subway, but the elevator is a mess, during Rush hours!

Elevators suck . Three slow ones, and one is out of service for 6 months (projected) starting 11/19/2019. If you are able, get a low floor & use stairs. Otherwise, excellent value! Good free breakfast !

great room with kitchen and a great view . also the breakfast is amazinf, u can take it to the room. Close to evwrything, it was a great experience in my 1st NY trip

Comfy bed ! Glad there was a fridge and a microwave. Beautiful view , but I was woken up in the morning by taxis honking and ambulance sirens from Time Square craze. Welcome to New York!

While they have renovations going for everything but the antique elevators , they also have a nice happy hour in the lobby with free b00ze and snacks .

Elevators get jammed in the mornings with guests going down and back up after picking up their free breakfasts in the Green Room on lobby level. Allow more time than you otherwise would 7:00-9:00am.

A secret spg gem, I'm reluctant to endorse it only because I don't want it selling out all the time. Clean , spare, handsome rooms with kitchenettes ! Free breakfast ! Free happy hour Mon-Thurs!

Very Good beds, Elevators can be slow in the morning. When checking out take notice of traffic. When eating out go right instead of left. Restaurants in Hells Kitchen are cheaper and better!!

There's a really good Italian restaurant half a block to the west of the hotel . Called Mercato's Trattoria. The spinach ricotta ravioli was heavenly.

Happy hour with cold snacks and free wine and beer (no cocktails ) from 5:30pm - 7pm Monday thru Thursday. Sorry, but no weekend hours.

Great hotel . Artisan sandwiches every morning. Stable Internet connection in the room and the elevators seem to be working fine. Get floors 8 and below if you dont want to wait.

As of August 17, 2021 all the exterior doors remain locked and I believe it’s 24/7. Be prepared to show a key or to be checking in as a registered guest

They truly live up to the reputation as the nicest hotel staff in nyc. Phenomenal job on working with my high maintenance family! :)

Just checked in and the AC is not working! The maintenance told us he can give is fan (I mean really?) We are so exhausted from walking around and now they have to transfer us to a different room!

Real nice complimentary breakfast . Elevators are real slow and cause a backup during busy times plan accordingly

The elevators are slow when the hotel is busy. It's quicker to walk down from the 30th floor than take the elevator . And if you're on the 5th floor or below, do everyone a favor and walk up!

hotel made a room with tables for breakfast buffet . this hotel does a very nice job.low floors are better because the elevators can be an issue

Don't be one of the crazies who feels the need to bring their suitcases for breakfast . It is busy enough without unnecessary luggage

Bit weird eating your breakfast in a packed out hotel lobby but the presence of Lucky Charms more than made up for it. Wi-fi in each room a major plus & comfy beds .

Great hotel fast Internet and nice amenities but really slow elevators ! Not enough to not stay here though. If your below the 5th floor. Please take the stairs.

The 5:30 to 7pm unwind mixer is like a mini meal with free wine and beer . Very tasty.

Heres a tip about the elevators ...don't take it during peak times (if you're smart you'll figure out the times)

Elevators slow, kitchenette great touch. PM reception nice as well as breakfast . Get there early to avoid crowds.

This might be the only hotel in new York where you can wait 20 minutes for one of four (!!!) elevators . What gives?

Great stay. Room rates are wallet friendly . Complimentary coffee is a plus.

The corner studios have more room than the middle rooms. Ask for one facing uptown for a nice view on the upper floors over the Port Authority building.

Love the kitchenette and mini grocery downstairs. But bring your own hair conditioner; they only have dual shampoo + conditioner.

Note.. the elevators are rough here. At times 8am to 9:45 am could take 20 minutes to have one arrive. Use the stairs.

Give yourself some extra time for the elevators . They are crowded (especially as bfast is coming to a close around 9:00am)

Get the lower floors so that you can use the stairs during the morning when everyone is trying to get down

Elevators take forever. Rooms have a full kitchen , but it isn't enough for me to stay here regularly
