Wonderful little museum with lots of info on the history of voodoo . Take as many picture as you like- they encourage it! Lots of great goodies in the gift shops . Gris gris bags, voodoo dolls, & more.
Take the guided walking tour-ask questions! The museum is good, but the real treasure was the tour guide. He was so interesting and informative; one of my favorite parts of my trip!
A little bit off the beaten path of the normal voodoo shops. Good deals on mojo bags! Sam the snake is beautiful and the owner will let you hold him!
Definitely not worth it. I came with high expectations, thinking I would learn about the religion and its Nola specificities. Information in there is anecdotical at best... and also, clean the space!
Only $5 to get in and lots of interesting info about the history of voodoo . Touristy but a good place if it interests you. I enjoyed it.
I personally liked it but it literately 2 rooms. There are some cool things but not many informations. Unless you have a guide you won’t get much insight of the Voodoo religion .
If you are interested in Dark Arts or Voodoo it’s a good chance to see them up front and person.
Small museum , but very informative! If voodoo fascinates you, it's a great place to satisfy your curiosity.
The museum consisted of a lot of information but not a lot of props. It was interesting reading about the origins of voodoo. This place is not for young ones - some images may be frightening to them.
If voodoo interests you then look no further than this historic museum . The name has "tourist attraction " written all over it, and fortunately the experience comes at an affordable price . Read more
Small but worth seeing for the price. I mean, you came all the way to N'awlins right? Kind of terrifying.
Interesting tiny museum . I wish there were more rooms to visit!
Quaint and reasonably priced at $5. Great historical facts and just the right amount of creepy!

Small, dusty, cramped. Interesting! But $8 is too much for a small museum . You can get the same info on Wikipedia, but the experience or vibe.
Divine All Blessed Birthday to Voodoo Queen Madame Marie Catherine Laveau September 10, 1801, New Orleans #RespectTheVoodoo#MarieLaveau
Really famous but nothing special... It's $5 to see two rooms..
Literally 1 hallway and 2 small rooms, packed with stuff and a couple of signs with information. Way too crowded and 7 dollar for an adult is too much for this small 'museum '.
Can get creepy, but cool. Seems touristy and mildly tacky . Very crowded , lot of character
Bring money to offer to the spirits!!!
If you want to wish for something bring a piece of paper with your wish written down. This place is not very big and should not take longer than 30 min.
Don’t touch anything. You never know what it might do!
You will see everything within 4 minutes & not very informative on anything!!
Just a lot of stuff, not interesting
Ask to say hello to Sam!
Really crowded and very small! Wouldn’t expect much if you want to visit.
If u wanna learn about the history of voodoo very educational
Very small, not worth the price
I like this Voodoo museum !!
Not so cool
Creepy and weird and small and weird and it smells funny.
Not much here - just two rooms with artifacts & a self guided tour . . . Only 5 bucks a person though.
Cool stuff. Lots to read. Don’t go in if you’re squeamish! - Eva ???? Banova
Fun place to kill some time and learn about southern food culture over the years - Gerald Wilson
A must see when you visit New Orleans!!! Make sure to get a free piece of King Cake at the end of the tour. It's delicious!!! You can call for a free shuttle to get here. - Lori Frey
I love this place when the sun is down and the piano is playing. The purple stuff will catch up with you quick. It's a great getaway from Bourbon Street while still being on Bourbon Street. - Latham Brunson
Everything is deep fried delicious! Always add more powdered sugar! - Chinemenma Yoruk
Lovely to walk through, there is usually live music and tasty treats to try! Plus great scenery - Candice Rivera
