Seek out the Rotunda. This is where the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence are. Must see!
If you are a true patriot, you must go there. It was really cool to see the Articles of Confederation, Bill of Rights, Constitution and of course the Declaration of Independence all in the same place.
Everyone tries to form a line to the left and work their way around. Do not be fooled into this. It is a free for all with no lines . Walk up to the document you want to see and then back off.
Very nice museum , with some of the most important archives in history. Any history buff will enjoy. Even the Magna Carta is here!
Must come here to see the original Declaration of Independence .

Highly recommend stopping here to see the Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence and the Constitution !!
I've been to DC many times now and I always always stop to see OUR Constitution . It is bigger than any one man.
The documents have faded over time, but it’s still very cool to see the originals.
The original documents that made the USA to what it is right now, very impressive to see!
Get there early or you won't be able to see over the heads of the crowd.
So much history in this building. A beautiful display of our founding documents !
The Charters of Freedom were formally delivered into the custody of the Archivist of the United States and enshrined in the Rotunda at a ceremony on December 15, 1952.
Once you're inside the rotunda, it's sometimes easier to walk thru counter clockwise. The clockwise can sometimes develop a long queue.
Look for the misspelling of Pennsylvania on the Constitution , it's a fun secret
There's more here than the Rotunda. Check out the declarations of war and presidential letters.
Terrible crowd control, they just send a crowd in and it's everyone for themselves
Long line but moved pretty steadily.
DON'T FORM A LINE !!! The guards will yell at you if you do.
The constitution looks almost completely faded.
Try the Constitution

This was fantastic! Not much to see in the house. Originals are in Chicago. Nice feature on Abe's hat, flag, his coat. - Aaron Smith
Very historically informative in a tasteful way. All graphic images/information is blocked off so you can make the choice of what to see. Excellent museum. - Lauren Millard
