Fun place to go once a year or bring visitors to. Really touristy , crowded , and fun. All kinds of knickknacks and crazy street food to buy like drinks in blood bags! ????
Great shopping spot! Local old building commercialized, more attractive for tourists . Can find a lot small to big souvenir for your friend and family. Snack , beer , dining are available????????????????????????????????
Take a stroll around this area... You can find interesting art centre, small little souvenir shops, cafes and bar :)
Very exciting and interesting place. Careful with pickpockets. Try the fresh bean curd . It is an open stand in a small side street. It is as authentic as it can get in Shanghai. Good cheap Souvenirs.
Nice lovely unique area of Shanghai! it's like a lively small hidden town with narrow street full of tiny shops, bars and foodies spots! It can get very crowded on the weekends
One of my favorite places in Shanghai. :) Though a little crowded , there are tons of local shops, bars and restaurants . Also, perfect for street food lovers!
Prepare 2 be amazed for a unique experience of shopping in alleys within alleys packed with local souvenir shops (leather goods , silver jewelries , Chinese tea and Chinese makeup) also bars and cafes .
Once a traditional residential area, Tian Zi Fang is now home to boutique shops and restaurants . Its a great place to visit to experience the old world charm of Shanghai in the French Concession area.
A very interesting place to visit in Shanghai rich with multi-culture outlets. A place that u won'want to missed in Shanghai.
Quaint little neighborhood full of the cutest cafes . I recommend the bean curd stand where you can get savory or dessert flavored soups for 20 rmb each
The atmosphere is wonderful, so nice place with beautiful narrow streets and a lot of shops and cafes . Must be visited! ????
Great during the week, super busy on weekends. Really touristy but worth the visit! Great coffee and brunch at Kommune and loads of little boutiques to wander round! Love it.
You can see here Turkish ice cream . It is very interesting and nice area. Especially you can sit and drink STH at bar or café in this area
A must see when you are in Shanghai. Really touristy but it worth the visit ! Walk through charming alleys and have a drink there.
Definitely must visit if you are in Shanghai. Loved spending time here and waking around in those small streets.
Worth the visit. Nice maze of tiny streets where you can find interesting products and food.
My #1 favourite touristy spot in Shanghai. Keep in mind that everything is over priced here. Lots of interesting shops, small galleries , and restaurants .
Casa Pagoda stores on Taikang road are worth visiting! Stylish home furnishings and accessories , a unique eclectic concept.
Tian Zi Fang, the traditional Shanghainese-style maze of lanes is where you can find art galleries , interesting shops and elegant restaurants .
Hipster neighborhood in Shanghai. Many nice places to purchase from and to eat.
Despite becoming more and more touristy over the years, if you go on an off - day early afternoon you can still find some elbow room and plenty of charm.
If you're looking for a more decent washroom, go across the street to the mall or museum (a bit more West) - though you'll need your own toilet paper and soap/sanitizer!
The neighborhood , filled with restored lane houses, cafés , and old-timers hanging out, is great for anyone interested in getting a taste of real Shanghai.
Cute place with amusing shops. Passed by a restaurant called "modern toilet " where you can literally eat on the can. LoL
Touristy , but definitely worth a visit. Don't be afraid to haggle a bit—it's pretty easy to knock 30-40% off whatever they are asking.
Best way to get away from the local tourists and paparazzi is to find I Love Shanghai Lounge .
Check out the food market and wander around on a Saturday morning. Find a brunch spot and watch the world go by.
a maze of shops , for when you're feeling touristy and just want to be entertained
Nice atmosphere. Amazingly found Old Monk in an Indian Restaurant in Shanghai! Imagine that.
Nice place for food or coffee , but you should perhaps consider avoiding weekends, it can get a bit crowded .
Head to Nuzi, shop 30-248 Taikang Rd Tianzifang. They have an awesome lounge bar upstairs serving drinks & really yummy empanadas . Great place for a beer/cocktail on the terrace away from the crowds!
You can buy white rabbit candy , Blan Bunny tea and Moder lady cream in Tianzifang area.
I tried going here to find a place for dinner , but because of the virus they limit the number of people. Each person needs to download a special app, buy a free ticket. Too much of a pain with 2 kids
wander down here to view the work of Shanghai's young artists , hang out in coffee bars , and buy hot pancakes from the street vendors. Local Shanghai at its best!
Go weekdays during the afternoon, avoid at all other times and never go on holidays. Great for gift and souvenir shopping.
A maze of shops and street food - you can get lost in here for hours.
Definitely the place to go experience the old shanghai for the tourist while getting a few good drinks!
Great tourist spot. A must see once. Loads of small handcraft shops. Over priced for what it is. Very busy at week end.
Very nice shopping area. Check out the cafes there too!
It's a great place to take your visitors too, just avoid it like the plague on weekends. Way too many people for comfortably walking around.
after exploring much of shanghai, tianzifang has something very different to offer. the style is more modern but also unique.
A bit too touristic . Some shops are pretty unique. Lots of trash though. Don't miss the wet market .
Touristy but worth a visit just to experience the small alleyways and maze like shops.
Certainly a place to see in Shanghai! The photo galleries are the ones I liked most
Great area for a night out, or souvenir shopping. Or both at once...? Read more
Nice little alley... Touristy for sure but still has some cafes with attitude!
Cosy neighbourhood with shop stalls & bars/restaurant quite pricy and touristic but nice
I Love Shanghai Lounge off lane 248 second lane on the right at the end.
