2 mile hike . Worth it to see the falls. You go through the bamboo forest on the way which was awesome! Wear good shoes ! I don't know how people got up there in flip flops. Lol! Lots of mud and rocks.
This is worth the walk. Way better than the pools alone. And you walk through a bamboo forest !
Hike through a bamboo forest to get to this awesome waterfall . The Rangers show up mid-afternoon, so make sure you get your up-close (read: forbidden) shots before then!
What a spectacular view , never have I seen such a tall one . Go early to get the place for yourself.
2 miles in and 2 miles out with ever-changing scenery along the way
This is not a hike for everyone... however the day we were there, we passed 4 pregnant women who made it... just sayin’
Take your falls photo before you get too close so you can get the entire falls in frame.
Cool hike to the falls
Beautiful place to walk around and take in views as well as check out Silverswords. Worth a trip any time of day - Lance Lacoff
Best spot to catch the rising of the Maui sun! Bring a jacket as it gets chilly. Check for sunrise times as it'll take ~2hrs & don't forget to make a reservation. Do the Lavender farm on the way down. - Jacy Higa
Get away from the crowd and walk down sliding sand trail to see the sunrise. It's a five minute walk - Phuong Trinh
It's a long grueling hike to the last waterfall. But if you don't give up the reward will be as enormous as the last fall. Don't go if you tire easy or in the rain. But I did! - Kapado Fernand
Nice walk. Beautiful bamboo. Walk past the sign at the end to see the pool. You won't be arrested. - Brian Duncan
Beautiful pools that you have to check out if you're in the Hana area. Cliff dive too if you're adventurous! - Al B.
Rangers here are hilarious and friendly. Beware of critters (like wasps), but pop in and say hello. - Sam S
