Ask if the seven sacred pools are fully visible. Second time I went they are blocked off for reconstruction. Try to make time to do the full hike .

Oheo Gulch, a part of Haleakala National Park , features 7 pools, of which most are secluded 2 miles upland. When hiking in, be certain to do a safety check on weather and stream conditions of the day.

Come here EARLY to avoid the tour buses . You may just have the place to yourself for a few hours ...

Beautiful pools that you have to check out if you're in the Hana area. Cliff dive too if you're adventurous!

Consider aqua sox to hike up higher. Beautiful, perfectly crystal pools. Not to be missed.

Better view of ocean than the pools.

2 mile hike. Worth it to see the falls. You go through the bamboo forest on the way which was awesome! Wear good shoes! I don't know how people got up there in flip flops. Lol! Lots of mud and rocks. - Laura Saechao

It's a long grueling hike to the last waterfall. But if you don't give up the reward will be as enormous as the last fall. Don't go if you tire easy or in the rain. But I did! - Kapado Fernand
