Visitors get to see this from car or tour bus . I recommend walking back to it and taking time to appreciate the detail of the work. Jeanne d'Arc is one of my favorite historical heroines .

In 1889 the French community and the Fairmount Park Art Association commemorated the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution by purchasing Jeanne d’Arc statue , France’s heroine , from Frémiet .
