Located on a hill, Fort Canning Park is one of Singapore's most historic landmarks. It has witnessed Singapore's golden age, when Malay Kings ruled from its peak, and watched as the island transformed from a sleepy fishing village into a vibrant trading hub in the 19th century.

Great park , but can be very busy on Sundays. Reservoir in the centre is off limits. Check out the battle box and the spice garden . They also hold awesome concerts and movies on the green.
It's great for walking but not much for a runner since it's quite small. The beautiful trees are worth the visit.

Pancur Larangan (Forbidden Spring). A tranquil water feature at the southwest corner of the park . The spot was said to be where the wives & consorts of Malay Kings of the land used to take their baths
