Great venue for any kind of music ! Nice side-stage views at shows if you come in late. Some all ages shows make me feel old as hell, but it's great for live music culture in the city ! Very cool vibe!
This has that vibe of a classic New York dance club. Great place to see a live concert as well . Clean bathrooms but the attendants can be pushy about tipping. Dress in layers...can get hot on floor!
Claim a spot leaning against the bar , even if not packed. Drinks are what you’d expect. Food, though: don’t overlook the food. Substantial, delicious, and mildly priced. French onion soup especially.
80s show with fresh kids of belair is a ton of fun with a good group of friends. It's SUPER loud and perfect if you're looking to dance ! The dj music after the show is on point as well !
love LPR. It's so refreshing to know that there's a venue that still truly cares about art and music ! Plus, they have "milk and cookies " on their menu... what more could you ask for!?
Best venue in Manhattan. I don't say that lightly!
Not only does this space have game nights, bands, and shows, but they also support classical music and hosted Max Richter for his reimagining of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Truly something for everyone!
Fun fun fun. I love the space. I love the multi-media aspects of it. I love the vibe. Excellent programming, fantastic acoustics . If you're looking for a fun experience, look no further! Try it out!
It's great venue for loud concerts and they have a very good programme, but they really need to fix the freaking AC vents that go off with a bang and whirr overhead. Very noticeable with quieter music
Start your Saturday night at Le Bingo ! with your hostess Linda Simpson. Entrance is free and cards are $2 each, with the chance to win discount-store delights or a cash jackpot!
Come here for unexpected indie showcases, but beware the cover for less well known bands!
Great subterranean music spot - low key performances and acts, and home to great decade cover bands Bayside Tigers and Jessie's Girl
Pretty cool and space venue with art installations for great shows!

Hosting the annual Alternative Oscar Celebration. Red carpet arrivals start at 6pm with live DJs , followed by food and drink specials all night. It's $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
Lots of people order things to eat but then they don't eat it because the show starts. Nachos work well to overcome this, easy to eat in the dark.
Nice, intimate club setting that's great for all kinds of concerts .
The Beatbox house performs here on the reg and you should go there because these guys are amazing and talented.

Broadcast and Atlas Sound helped kickstart CMJ 2009 with a memorable joint performance at Le Poisson Rouge. Make sure you don't bump your head on the fishtank chandelier on your way in.
Very intimate venue . Great acoustics . Saw Bahamas here and was one of the greatest shows I've ever been to.
"More Than Enough" party in the Gallery is a TRUE dance party . Get on it when it happens. Free entry before midnight with RSVP.
The place feels really intimate , you get your tickets and the day of the event you just say your name and you are in.
I like the concept, but I'm not sure if the sound system can support it. Went to a show recently and could hear some instruments more than others, so it sounded more like noise than music .
So many of our favorite acts have played here, we love this chameleon-like venue. Hint: become a member for $50 and get a free ticket to LPR member shows, plus a free bucket of beer on your bday!
Here's to hoping that Macaulay Culkin keeps throwing his iPod parties. If so, you can meet him on the first Thursday night of every month at Le Poisson Rouge
Tab Benoit and Slam Allen shredded this compact basement bar venue. Good for an up close and personal show experience
This extravagant West Village nightclub is a mix of uptown class and downtown talent offering fine dining , art performances , film screenings, music and rambunctious late night dance parties .
Great nite of comedy and storytelling. Jason Biggs was amazing.
Intimate music venue + dancing club ????????
Highly recommend! Live music every night & varies from each and every genre.
Surprisingly good layout. Stage close to entrance, bar away from stage, easy to move around room.
Awesome venue to see a band you love. Small, intimate . Has a big bar .
Really interesting setup, the crowd definitely gets preference over VIP (which is great).

Had so much fun at drag queen bingo here! Great atmosphere and had a great time!
One of NYC's longest running dance parties , The Freedom Party , calls LPR home every Fri. Classic hip-hop, soul, reggae , house & more. Mention the RARE FORM GUESTLIST to the cashier for reduced prices.
Intimate venue to see an artist you love. Standing room only!
A "multimedia art cabaret". The Gallery downstairs has limited view and the sound from the adjacent main stage can sometimes disrupt performances ...
90's cover band The Bayside Tigers has a residency that every 90's kid must see. Otherwise this venue is overpriced and not as cool as it used to be
More music museum than raucous rock club , LPR is host to some of the most avant garde acts you're likely to see, but keeps it really classy .
Awesome live music. Gets crowded. Food is quick & delicious for snacking. - Jackie Mucilli
This is a great show venue - I went to cover the Latin Alternative Music Conference and it was a great time. Their bartenders were pretty chill and their drinks were delish. Two thumbs up - JC Earle

Best falafel and really cheap too, but they also have the really good kebab with nice chunks of meat - Greg B.
Cheap craft beers, excellent original cocktails (and mainstream favorites!) and cheap good food. Only real downside? They're CASH ONLY. They do have an ATM in the back though #eyeroll - Stephanie P.
