Incredible hike with amazing views . The beginning is the most challenging part. A must do while in Maui.
Excellent place to take a hike . One important fact to remember is to bring a Walking Stick . You will thank me later.
Be sure to take some walking sticks for slippery part of the trail .
Really terrific hike with some amazing views of the island and ocean.
Highly recommended. Amazing views , and relatively challenging walk.
About 2 hours round trip (not counting sitting at the top) if you are a speedy hiker.
Look for the Mendes Ranch. Take the left immediately afterward for the road to the entrance.
For best views start between 8-9.30 before the clouds roll in
Found perfect walking stick on trail and left it when done for the next traveler!
Very slippery when wet. Would recommend going on a dry day.
Sometymes you just need a different back drop... Still Studying!
Ohai Trail @ Papanalahoa Point Shoreline -- is the area where Hwy 30 ends (and the Narrow Road Drive At Your Own Risk begins) which leads to Hwy 340. Best to turn around and head back Hwy 30.!!!! - Endless Delight
Love their hot & spicy and spicy pineapple plates. There are also picnic tables near the water that you can sit on closer to the shack. Also not open on Labor Day - Quyen Chang
The spicy chicken sandwich is very good. Nice portion size. It's not too spicy and paired quite well with the island root beer. - Ricky A
Slippery trail , pools are murky with grime possibly out of stale water, also possibly infested ! Watch the olivine gemstones in the rock while walking down , you can't miss it. - Ebrahim Bandookwala
