Olivine Pools

Be sure to wear proper shoes if you actually want to hike down to the pools. It get real slippery . Also, watch the ocean. If it's heavy surf it gets dangerous . Other than that this place is an oasis!

Slippery trail , pools are murky with grime possibly out of stale water, also possibly infested ! Watch the olivine gemstones in the rock while walking down , you can't miss it.

Traveller beware – there a bunch of pools to take a dip in at the bottom of this cliff. One moment you're admiring this beautiful gift of Maui; and next you're consumed by it.

Be very very careful. Everything seemed great until an errant pair of gargantuan waves swept me over a 7 foot ledge on to the lava rock below. I wasn't even right next to the ocean!

Going swimming in the pools is well worth the hike down. Be careful though. The rocks can be very slippery ! Make sure to check out all the fish in the pools.

Beware of rogue waves , but otherwise an amazing spot. Wear solid shoes or risk of getting hurt on sharp lava stones.

Go early in the morning otherwise it's full of screaming kids

I dove into the heart shaped pool from the high rocks on the North side. Very cool!

Doesn’t seem the safest spot, be careful if you’re planning on going down here
