There is plenty to see here depending on the weather and season. Although it is a world famous spot for big-wave surfing and wind surfers , you can also spot whales and turtles .
The waves here are incredibly intense. Walk down to the rocks and enjoy the crashing waves .

Just a few miles east you can visit Maui Open Studios Feb 9-10, 2013. Look for artist signs! Have lunch at Baked on Maui in the same bldg.
Muddy. Crowded . But a must see. You can already visit the stinky port-a-johns.
