Great food, cozy atmosphere , friendly service , very good value for money ! Love the small (15cl) beer glasses, your beer never gets warm! ;) they don't take reservations , so better arrive early!
You can go up and down the handwritten tapas menu , you won't be disappointed. Everything was incredibly tasty. A good place to bring 1 or 2 friends and share the plates.
One of the best dinners I have ever had. Such a great experience! Lovely staff who tell about their food with great passion. And the food is absolutely amazing!
Everything tastes amazing. Work way down chalkboard & try it all. Cant book - need to go at 6pm put name on list then go back. I want to book flight back just to eat here again. Fav place I went to ????
This modern, hip little tasca is also very close to the CNC. The menu here changes every day, but it’s always good. Expect a bit of a wait (which you can spend eating olives and sipping wine outside)
Highly recommended! Everything we had was delicious! Go early to make sure you will get in, and expect some waiting time - it's a small and highly frequented place but definitely worth it!
Cute little cozy bistro with great service. Have to book in advance otherwise it’s an hour’s wait to get a table. If you’re traveling solo tell them you don’t mind sitting at the little “stairs”
Yes it’s hyped with the cueing & waitlist but it’s worth it & becomes part of the experience. The food is exciting and the menu ever changing depending on season. The service is very friendly .
Small plates served one at a time in a lovely atmosphere. Seasonal menu with great quality food at affordable prices . Be prepared for a long wait (we put our name down and came back 2 hours later).
Wonderful place! Amazingly helpful staff , and the food is really spectacular. Try the clams with oregano and the lightly grilled tuna , they're both delicious. Finish off with the chocolate mousse .
NYT Pic The daily menu—scribbled on a blackboard—recently included wasabi oysters , mackerel tartare w/ seaweed &crunchy dried shrimp , & matchstick potatoes & trumpet mushrooms . Cash only
This place stole my heart. Food was amazing, staff friendly and nice. Prices were great. Place is rather small, quiet and romantic . Great for date, family and friends.
Fried goat cheese is great. Menu changes daily though, so be prepared to try something new and unexpected. Come before 6:15 to avoid long waits . By 7, the wait is sure to be 2+ hours.
Superlatively good, tapas style cuisine. Be prepared to wait for a table but you can get drinks outside while you do. Also note that it's cash only .
Amazing staff (I mean, legends) serving state of art Petiscos . Get there early. Don’t sleep on this one. Just don’t.
Absolutely stellar. I got the sardine cones and the bacalhau on peas . Sheep cheese with honey and almonds as a dessert was to die for!
After four or five different foods we had to keep ordering more because everything we tasted was just amazing. Well worth the wait!
Small, cozy , tapas-style restaurant . No reservations , no paper menus, just daily "blackboard" offers. Helpful and friendly service . Very tasty, good value for the price.
Outstanding. Plate after plate of amazing food plus beers all for a ridiculously good price. Top restaurant in lisbon and worth the wait.
The food is just awesome! The staff is super friendly ! And so reasonably priced. Razor Clams , deep fried cod and chocolate cake we had were just amazing!!
Avoid the lines and go for lunch . Daily menu on the board. Servers will translate at your table. Very small and cozy with fair prices .
We wait about 2 hours to have a table, no reservation , but it worth it !! Excellent food and the owner is so nice
Went for a late lunch and didn't have to wait. Had the soup , the bacalhau salad and the flan pudding - everything was good, nothing was exceptional. Very affordable
The food is nice but you need to be prepared to wait min 2 hours regardless of how early you go.. they don’t do reservations . Stuff is friendly & atmosphere is nice. Not sure if worth the wait though
You have to wait for a table, but it's worth it. Not a big menu, but food is good. Full of locals as well . Would recommend to try.
Menu changing not only nightly, but also during the night. All staff was fluent in English and super friendly and helpful.
Fantastic food and cosy place . Everything they cook is fantastic but the chocolate mousse (they call it Mousse à taberneiro) is literally out of this world!
Had a truly great meal here. Vibe is amazing, service is super friendly , and food/wine is great. A special place.
Great value for one of the best tapas I have had in this city .
Worth standing in the line . Daily menu , super fresh ingredients cooked or marinated to perfection. Quite affordable .
Excellent haute cuisine food, esp tuna steak , cozy unpretentious atmosphere and the best chocolate mousse ever!
nearly all the special sea food was very special. very good quality food. service is good, also.
Tiny Restaurant with friendly Staff and great Food. but don´t be later than 7 p.m.
Perfect place all the #tapas are just amazing try the #mushrooms !!!!
Authentic , cozy , good and reasonable. Reco: smoked razor clam , scallops , duck thigh with apple . Desserts were so so.
Very cozy , home like place. New menu every day. Had amazing rice pudding for dessert .
Best meal I had in Lisboa! Pro tip: go for lunch , not dinner , to avoid waiting so much
petisco peixe, conchas, petisco veg . and carne, shortly ; all specials were very delicious
Lovely food, but slow service. Great place to spend if you have some time to kill!!!
Nice little taverna, great atmosphere and music . Food was delicious and cheap . Loved it :)
Great place, don't go for the raw fish though... Especially not if it was on the menu the day before as well . But I'd go again.
There is usually a waiting list, no reservations in advance, and it is cash-only.
Good wine (Very well priced) and delicious food (tapas ). Def worth checking out.
The clams are fantastic, as is the ceviche . We had a cracking bottle of wine too: vale da capucha's Alvarino
Best fish & chips i have ever had. Grest service, very friendly staff . Highly recommended.
Cozy .nice staff .and most important: really good food and family friendly .
Excelent food and service. With a menu that changes daily, depending on whats available on the local market ????
Excellent menu and staff . Best meal in Portugal, lovely ambiance
Really good place. Good food but service is not as great as it. I liked vieiras, cod and chips and Caballa.
Get there early - you can't reserve a table but it's worth getting in the queue.
Very traditional Portuguese restaurant, where you can eat amazing fresh fish for less than 10€/head drinks included, and portions are huge! The queue is definitely worth it! - Marta Ponari
Quirky place with good steaks. Waiters are highly uncommunicative, but the food and atmosphere was great. Fully wheelchair accessible. - Christiane Link
We tried 8 small and medium sized dished and all of them were delicious! Salted caramel was awesome. - cosmicsupervoid
pastel de nata. absolutely delicious. strongly recommend. better than the ones in Belem. and they are always freshly baked. - rita
The fabulous variety of foods. A great opportunity to try the best of Portuguese food makers at reasonable cost. - Marcia Dunsmore
Excellent coffee - iced coffee with milk beats the cold brew. Soy available. - Joanna
