amazing place for a late lunch . we started with a pata negra & cheese platter , went on with a rossini sandwich with foie gras & truffels and some amazing suckling pig . chillaxed athmosphere.
Chef stands at low-cost prices where you can indulge in dishes signed by Alexandre Silva , Miguel Castro e Silva, Henrique Sá Pessoa, Marlene Vieira , Vítor Claro, Susana Felicidade and Dieter Koschina
A must visit for foodies staying in Lisbon. Go their for lunch and pick some nice plates. My favorite is Cozinho da Liberdade
Great food! Tuna from Tartar-ia is awesome. Alexandre Silva also really good. Only bad experience was at Confraria Sushi , they were arrogant and unfriendly: avoid! Tip: taste a few wines from Odete.
Best place to eat out at affordable prices . Dishes are between 8-15€. Superbock beer in the middle for 3€. Codfish at Sea Me , Mercado Burger at Honuratu and Gambas Al Ajillo at Monte Mar were awesome!
Great place to eat any time of day or night, any day of the week. The stalls offer everything from traditional dishes to burgers , sushi and Asian food . It's well worth eating there.
Amazing place! So difficult to choose. I went for Alexandre Silva , soup from market vegetables was huge, priced 2.50Eur as a starter - taste was great ???? To follow - Tuna tataki with a glass of rose !
Wander through the aisles to look at what everyone's ordered before you make your selection. Pictured is black risotto at Alexander silva
Great food market with outlets of leading Portuguese chefs .Huge variety of local, international dishes, wines , beers etc.We ate here every day during our stay in Lisbon.
Drink vinho verde, enjoy the hustle and bustle and don’t miss Manteigaria Silva’s presunto and pata negra platters or Alexandre Silva’s Octopus and the squid ink and scallop risotto !!
Come here every day of your trip to eat the best chefs in Lisbon at sub 10 euro prices. Sea Me , Silva, etc.
You can try a very good food for decent price. Super dish from Marlene Vieira - grilled octopus and mashed potato is delicious and only €12 ????????????
It has a lot of food choices, we tried a restaurant which was a good plates we choose steak and fried salmon and it was yummy, then we took a custard tart which was delicious only it’s a crowded place
You will not regret heading here. Lisbon has amazing food and what more under one roof. Highly recommend to visit this big food market . Authentic and traditional delicacies served here.
So many amazing options in one place. Go hungry and try as many things as you can. Fresh juice and summer rolls are not to be missed. Go for an early lunch to avoid queues.
There’s something for everyone at this place. Octopus hot dogs , finer dining and fun pastry . Could eat every meal of the day at this place.
Excellent selection of gourmet quality foods by local chefs cafeteria style . Visit the gift shop in the center for unique (in not pricey ) gifts .
Curated by a top chef winner (obv from Portugal) & open since 1890, a hit with both locals and tourists . Please make sure you hit ( 100+ year old) Manteigaria Silva.
Hard to choose what's the best here! But try Sea Me place, love the octupus and cod fish ! Nice gin & tonic , as well as good coffee & desert place. Int he centre! Love love it!
Meat, fish , seafood , sushi , pizza , wine , sangria and so on... Everything is good enough! I've tried steak with egg and prosciutto . And burger with tuna steak . It was delicious!
Crowded and a bit of a hassle to find a seat at 13h. Had octopus at Joao Rodrigues which was simpley fabulous!! Once seated and eating all was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere!!
Perfect place to try local quisine, bacalhau (codfish ) made by best chefs in the city ! You can have a dessert here as well , eg pasteis de nata produced by Manteigaria
Lively , trendy , excellent, loud , crowded , overcrowded... Time Out is victim of its own success. Seating may be replanned: too many businesses for a “few” seats. However, out of crazy days: excellent!
A must go in Lisbon! If you can't decide what to eat, or you want to try different things at once , this is the place to hang out. A gastronomic paradise!
Wonderful place! Love the cheese and wine place “Manteigaria Silva” (with the hanging hams ) - try the various ports ...a great way to spend a couple of hours
Really excellent food - suckling pig , cod with poached egg and peppers , duck risotto , octopus - at reasonable prices. So much choice. Very crowded , so getting a table/seat is tough. They do takeaways
Must try the black salmon burger from O Prego da Peixaria and octopus salad from Monte Mar !
Big market-restourant with lots of choices. Not cheap , noisy , but very delicious and good to feel atmosphere of the city . A lot of people in launch time
Amazing place! A must go in Lisbon. Great variety of food and beverage. Honest price. Choose your favorite dish and grab a sit.
Just walk around, take a starter here, main there and a dessert at a third place. It's quite lively , so sit, eat and enjoy the company.
Amazing place to enjoy fresh seafood ! There is no disappointment in this place. We had fresh seafood at the Azul! Highly recommend if in Lisboa!
We had such a warm welcome at the time out market in Lisboa. So many good food choices make this a wonderful culinary experience for everyone - I had the black rice risotto with scallops ????????
Great place to try food from a few of the best Portuguese chefs . Expect crowds though. Endure it. It will be worth it.
Quite a fun experience. Seems crowded but we managed to find 2 seats for us around 8pm on a Friday. The salad and the codfish that we got were delicious.
Every stall is amazingggg. So many high end gourmet restaurants to choose from in a super cool casual setting. Many famous chefs represented. All kinds of food.
Get the cheese , bread , and meat plate at Manteigaria Silva and the Pastel De Nata (egg tart ) for dessert at Padaria Do Mercado. Perfect meal
Really nice place for a fairly quick bite . Go for something from Sea Me , then some tuna tartar (you'll find it) and don't even think about not trying the gelato from Santini.
The best time to have dinner ... is after midnight...and Time out makes it possible! Go and enjoy all the after midnight food & drinks!
Amazing food, great showcase of everything Lisbon restaurants have to offer. A bit overpriced and touristy but it's expected.
Good concept, however, it´s very crowdy and hard to find a place to sit. Usually because of people who come there in groups and hold seats for others without actually having the food yet. Eat&go!
All your friends can join and find something they like to eat and drink. Lots of local dishes.
Anytime, any mood, any carving... this is the place for you! In a quick period of time you`ll find out what Portugal is all about: Quality, freshness and hospitality ... it is simply the place to be!
Ate at Tartar-ia and got the beef tartare and the Arenque-beterraba tartare . Both delicious. Friendly staff , good prices.
Massive food court style dining with lots of options from high end restaurants .
The suckling pig from Henrique with sweet potato mash . Crispy skin , juicy and tender meat. Try the duck risotto from Marlene too.
Great atmosphere, plenty of food to choose from, and even some gluten-free options
Great place for many types of food! Of course, get the pastel de nata from Manteigaria , the ice cream from Santini, and the suckling pig from Henrique Sá Pessoa.
Many choices, very clean , very nice, interesting to visit for its location/story, you can also find very cheap bottles of portuguese wine to buy and drink there!
looks busy at lunchtime at the modern food court , even though it was the day the neighboring fresh market was closed. I bought tinned sardines from a small shop as well .
This is touristy and overpriced but if you have a short amount of time in Lisbon it’s a great way to sample local food. Starts to get crowded around 12.
Maybe one of the best pastel de nata in town. You can takeaway and eat walking around. - Vlad the Impaler
Sunday's special - the duck rice - is earthy and ducky and great. Sausage and skin and flesh. The cheese tart is fab, too. - Daniel Grayson
The crispy pork sandwich with homemade pickle was absolutely amazing. Best pork I've ever had! Loved the spring onion & Asian flavours. - Julia Sandler
very delicious sandwiches and portuguese green wine. And interior is super! - Elyana
If you go in a group, divide to conquer. One or two try to look for a table while the rest take care of the meal. Its always packed with people and tables are hard to find. - Helder
Lovely place for a walk and to enjoy a good meal with a view. Plenty of different restaurants and close to shops downtown. - Inês Pinto
Some of the bars I mentioned before are at pink street which is literally a pink street . (there are also some nice restaurants here) - Claudia Makadristo
