Beautiful flagship store and gorgeous building. Dumbo area is lovely to walk around.
From Brooklyn With Love: West Elm (which was founded in DUMBO!) debuta a hip market and cafe , selling design accessories and locally made products.
SF based furniture store that has a lot of intricate designs. More on the pricey side but still worth a visit!
The new location (at 2 Main St) is right by the water. Great space!
Come for the coffee , leave before spending too much on furniture . They actually sell a $50 giant glass dreidel around the holidays.
Their corporate headquarters is upstairs. I think that counts as “super-local” design.
Skip the "window shopping" w/ your wife, girlfriend or partner and spend the time outside people watching (or on your phone) in the glorious sunlight.
Friendly but useless sales help. Explained exactly what was needed, pointed in the vague direction, left alone to figure it out. then they tried to hock me a credit card. Nice.
Make sure they are open, closed on random days is super unhelpful and shouldn't happen during peak hours
Quick trip store. Love the ppl there, lov tge store.
Customer service here is better than the one on 18th.
Step up that interior design game.
Beware! Check the SKU on your box before you leave. I took our whole bedroom apart before realizing that they sent us home with the wrong bedframe.
Meh...customer service. It's like walking into the twilight zone.
