Great Southern Hotel

Good hotel for the price. Very dark, so great for sleep ins, and very quiet . The rooms are old but clean and the beds are comfy . Staff are friendly and accommodating and the hotel location is fab.

This hotel serves it's purpose for the price. It's clean , comfortable , in a good location and has the fundamental facilities required. I would recommend this hotel for the budget minded.

Cheap basic hotel , sounds like people are expecting five star for $75...aint gonna happen. This place serves its purpose as a cheap place to crash after a big night out

Some rooms don't have daily room servicing included so if that's important to you then check when you book .

Nice, friendly staff . Courtyard rooms unfortunately get lots of noise when there are people. Good location, and decently priced.

Serves its purpose , comfy to sleep in. Close to trams ,would come back here again. I have been to worst ones that charges way much more.

ask for the room from the new/renovated building..

You won't believe what they charge for wifi ????

If you have any sort of social life don't stay here! All occupants are 50+ and have 0 tolerance for any noise, even just returning to your room after a night out!!!

No microwave , hot water does not function correctly. However it is clean and comfy . You get what you pay for.

I'm in a 'new room', no microwave !!

Bad hotel ! Air con and the water heater not working and the staff refuse to do anything about it! They claim that the have no blame about it!
