Dorchester Heights Monument is a historic and protected site South Boston Boston located in United States.

It was here that revolutionary troops massed 59 heavy cannons in 1776 which threatened British ships in Boston harbour & caused them to abandon the city .
As my Great Uncle Paddy would tell it: "This is where George Washington stood with his cannons and yelled 'Get outta Boston!' to the British."
Great spot to watch the St. Patrick's Day parade from. Sadly people have caught on and now it's PACKED every year.
The view is pretty from the top.
I live right next to the dorchester hights and even though it says no dogs its basically a dog park so...yah...
