Cumin beef , stir fried bok choy and three egg dish were excellent!
The restaurant is spacious and portions are huge. I like the cold noodles , 'popcorn chicken ' and lotsa sliced garlic ????
Very original Sichuan dishes with very typical Chinese service (you know what I mean)... The food is so good that we have to forgive the poor service : D
Stir-fried string beans ($10.80). Substantial serving to share among 5 adult diners. A suitable buffer from the spicy dishes
Scrambled tomatoes & eggs ($7.80). A common & popular dish. The omelette was clumpy rather than being mixed well with the diced tomatoes
Mapo tofu ($8.80). Standard Sichuan dish . Packs that numbing sensation. Make sure to pair with white rice ????
Pork belly in garlic sauce ($7.80). Enjoyed this aromatic & flavourful dish. Not overly spicy
Sichuan cold mixed noodles (5.80). Simple bowl of noodle with savoury but light heat
Sautéed eggplants in garlic sauce ($8.80). Spicy dish although no mention of chilli
Double flavour rice cake ($5.80). At first bite, it tasted bland. Then the caramelised aroma kicks in. A simple dish to tame the ‘burnt’ tongue ????
Really good Sichuan food at affordable prices . Reserve a table in advance, it gets busy quickly.
Restaurant entrance is right next to Chinatown MRT Exit A. Convenient access
Probably the most authentic Szechuan spot on the island . Grab a couple Xue Hua's and a large order of La Zi Ji
Unsure why tip on 10% service charge & 7% GST was downvoted. My family dined in & had to pay the additional charges in the final bill
Fish fragrant eggplant , chili sauce fish , fish with pickled cabbage , long beans
Pan-fried dumplings (guotie, $14.80 for 6pcs). Restaurant price (4x) for a common snack that we pay $3.50 in the suburbs. Nothing special
Very reasonable price for delicious Sichuan style Chinese food
Huge portions . Try the brinjal/eggplant dish. It's a little too oily but oh-so-yummy.
Fantastic chilli fried tofu . Great late-nighter.
Cumin ribs , Long beans , fish in Chili
If you relish your organs , this is your place. Scary.
The beef noodles are not that bad.
XLB skin was too thick. Not enjoyable
Ma Po Tofu was good
Be prepared to get burned!!!
Best Chinese food in Singapore .

For anyone that has been to Sichuan and experience authentic Chinese cuisine and looking for good Chinese food in Singapore , this is NOT the place. The food here is terrible.

Authentic Sichuan Cuisine in Singapore. If you also miss real Sichuan food and want something better than Mala in food courts you should go. - Henry Hu
Fish with Green Pepper Soup (small $26.80). Unique flavours from both the sea bass & the simmering green pepper soup. Enjoyed with rice - Cheen The Curious
Almond Snow Ice is awesome! The warm cream of almond is nice and creamy too. Didn't disappoint. - Jessica Chak
This place comes alive pre-lunar new year with lots to see, buy, savour and lots of photo opportunities! The street is beautifully decorated! - Veronica Lee
Don't forget to go to chinatown night market. Low price, many choices for presents/gifts. - Christy Sucahyo
