San Yuan 01-02 Signature Dried Mee Sua is nothing to shout about. Basically bak chor mee (minced meat noodles ) using mee sua (salted noodles ), with a sprinkle of fried ikan bilis (small anchovies )
There are 2 popular fish soup stalls here... Long Xing (#01-04) & Han Jiang (#01-15) respectively. Fish soup from both stalls are good but i personally prefer Han Jiang.
Fried Hokkien Mee . I enjoyed a very wet style from Eng Ho #01-34. Tasty! Stall sells from 4pm till midnight, closes on Tue
Mee rebus. Subdued yet tasty sauce from Muslim Food #01-39. $3 for this (noodles , hard-boiled eggs , taugeh, special sauce )

Duck rice . Quick-moving queue at Leng Kee #01-12. Braised duck meat was tender but plain, made up for with their tasty chilli sauce . Soup was herbal but salty. Another stall w no yam in their yam rice
Fishball noodles . Enjoyed the fishball & chilli paste from 茗香鱼圆面 #01-06. Noodles were 'q' (springy) too
Roast meats . Affordable but boring serving from 香記鷄飯 #01-11. This plate of mixed char siew-sio bak $3.50. Nothing outstanding abt the roasts. Served with soup

The fish soups stalls both facing the HDB blocks/roads are fresh and tasty. Both are equally busy. Char Kway Teow is one of my favourite too.
Vegetarian chicken rice . 33 Vegetarian Food #01-33 specialises in the plant-based version of this national dish. While it looks convincing, don't expect it to tastes like the real thing. Unimpressed
Dessert stall 通发 is manned by one old ah ma. Nostalgic desserts !

Tong Fong Fatt chicken rice is good! They don't smash the chicken to make it look bigger and tender.

Wanton mee noodles is very nice near the fish soup store.
The prawn Nee at the corner unit near Posb ATM machine is horrible! I found 2 strands of black hair inside the soup ! I feel like vomiting! Ya very unhygienic to find black hair inside the soup !
Good mee siam from Shu Xian and good coffee from San Teck Coffee .
The kway chap at #01-21 is pretty nice. I know that meat ball doesn't go with kway chap but u should order anyway. Is nice!
Food's good with wide variety. Can easily satisfy your cravings for one full week.
One of my morning coffee place is at 三德 Coffee Stall. Love the way the old lady talk to me rudely, then turn and sing out my order in a sweet voice.

the sesame chicken @ ming huey is worth eating, be it individual or sharing.
The mee Siam and mee rebus beside the coffestall is good. But only open in the morning.
Fried oyster .. Crispy and big oyster is a must try store
