Very friendly staff ! You get your hot cookie upon check-in :) I got my free wifi in the room as there was some technical problem. Situated in the heart of Manhattan. very happy to choose this hotel

Amazingly comfortable beds . Small mix up with our room meant we got free drink coupons and WiFi . The only letdown was the bathroom . Bath had rust and was very low though the water was nice and hot

Great nail salon connected to Hotel called Tiffany's. Manicures only $12 for basic polish and the back massages are amazing for those sitting at a desk a lot. Worth it after a mani/pedi.

Love that it's right by metro (6 train-51st). Also in 2 blocks it's the entrance for E and M train at 53/Lex ave. room is a bit small

If I knew before conung that they put izone machines on the floors during the day I never had come, I am allergic to it... My eyes are blurry, crazy to make check out tomorrow

Old place but very comfortable . Try to stay in the upper floors to avoid all the noise in the street.

Just to let you know, they don't pick up when you call the reception :) you have to go all the way to them to ask for whatever you want ! I regret this stay ????

Well-located hotel , 5 minutes walking to Fifth Ave. The room was clean . They didn't offer free WiFi in the room. Otherwise, I recommend this hotel .

You can store your luggages but you should pay $2 per each bag, $1 when store $1 when return. They gave me a coupon for drink at the bar while waiting for the room but nobody was in the bar .

Got upgraded, room is beautiful! Also I LOVE doubletree toiletries, better than any other hilton property!

Location is hard to beat and the beds are really comfortable . The shower was a total pain though (aimed towards the wall couldn't move it) and the TV barely functioned. Can't control your room temp!

If you book via an online site Doubletree don't recognize the booking ref. So be armed with a copy of your booking or you'll end up having to book another room and paying twice.

Doubletree cookies are awesome! Room service is a rip. If you need toiletries at night, you're better off going to Duane Reade. If you call, you'll get a voicemail and they may never call you back.

Wifi is $20/day! In rm 944 I was able to find a free network from nearby hotel .

The staff has been wonderful. Room is a bit noisy as it is shares a wall with an elevator...

Decent stay...walked out on a doorman demanding cash to hold one tote bag. It felt good.

I arrived at 2 pm but early check-in was not available. I went again at 3:30 pm, but the room was not ready yet and they told me I should wait forty minutes more.

They don't lend umbrellas when it's raining. Sad that this common courtesy has been lost. Lack of coffee maker and fridge also disappointing, but the beds are comfortable .

Rooms decent. Terrible internet and of all hilton hotels in NY (and I have been to almost all) the worst service. Everyone here hates their job, possibly life completely. Convenient to grand central.

Reception at this hotel is the worst. Don't be fooled by the modern decor of the lobby, the treatment is more like the ghetto d o u b l e t r e e sign on the side of the building. No executive lounge .

Dont charge $7.43 for two bottles of water, especially someone who stays with Marriott 90 nights a year who is testing your service

Worst Hilton property I have stayed at in years! No coffee maker in the room, rude service and awful breakfast . Add to that small cramped rooms that you can not move around in we will not be back.

The room was dirty and the noise level made sleeping difficult. One of the few hilton hotels I world nor come back to.

I love their cookies ~ lots of choices for food at anytime of the day
