Vino , tapas , and paella in dim lighting with Spanish music in the background. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Sit at the cozy bar stools if you're solo or with a friend.
BEST paella in NY. Lovely Spanish staff , and even an awesome selection of classic 80s Spanish tunes playing in the background. Close your eyes and pretend you're in Fuencarral street in Madrid :)
Owned by the owner of La Churreria, great service but don't be in a rush. It has well priced & delicious Spanish paella . I recommend the Gambas al ajillo and the squid ink paella . End with churros .
Delicious paella bar ! Lots of options, we went for the vegetable paella and it was a huge portion to share & delicious! Great starters also, recommend the patatas bravas & gambas al ajillo . Good wine .
Lobster paella + cheese platter w manchego and similar salty cheese + bread with tomato + sangria + churros/choc were bomb! I'd pass on the churros/choc next time tho.
Another tapas place to add to your repertoire. Gambas al ajillo were on point, dip that bread in there! Paellas were delicious but a lot of rice and not enough meat. Still a great date spot .
Nice $19.95 lunch special (and the place is empty) You get a soup/salad, paella of the day and a really delicious flan
Cosy atmosphere . The paella dish is great for sharing and very delicious. Don't get confused, there are a few locations in the city !!
Paella Negra is really good! This is not black rice like some idiots are writing... It is squid ink ...it goes out as easy as in. Order couple tapas for the wait!
Try the paella here!!! Staff is as friendly as it gets, I LOVE this place. Enjoy this piece of Spain in NY
Try the paella de carne : smoky chorizo , caramelized rice , sweet and crunch snow peas . Their tapas menu is small but delicious, their wines and sangria are great, & the staff are always friendly .
Bacon wrapped dates , fried artichokes , brussel sprouts , shishito peppers + lobster paella ????
3 locations in NYC. Very cute place. Great food (paella ) and delicious Sangria !
An extremely alluring and intimate atmosphere coupled with fantastic spanish wine and, our favorite, NYC paella (particularly the arroz negro) is, just, the perfect way to get your night started!
Seafood paella with black rice is so good! Sangria is great too.
I really liked my vegetarian paella . Would go back to try the other ones!
If you are vegeatarian, don't worry! The veggie paella is fantastic, and if they have the yellow gazpacho don't hesitate - it's ridiculously good and comes with fresh avocado on top.
Expect to wait to share space at the giant communal table that stretches the length of the room, but Socarrat serves near note-perfect paella . A solid menu of Spanish starters, too. [Eater 38 Member] Read more
The tapas are phenomenal! The paella is superb! Fideua and Paella Negra are my favorite!
The Chorizo is amazing, can't go wrong with bacon wrapped dates , and of course the paella !
Ordering a bunch of tapas to share is a great approach here. The bacon wrapped dates were great. Loved the croquetas and patatas too.
Known for their paella but also have many excellent tapas (half-price tapas and drinks specials until 7pm weeknights)
The razor clams are really tasty and the perfect appetizer before indulging in their delicious black paella ...!
Highly recommend octopus and lobster paella . Beyond the world.
definitely worth the wait, I had the paella de mariscos and it was delicious. Don't forget to scarf crispy bits at the bottom of the pan.
At this tiny restaurant from Lolo Manso, have tapas to start but keep in mind that paella is indeed thing to get.
Small groups can usually get reservations day of, if you call. Great spot for a unique last minute dinner .
Get the chorizo tapas and squid ink paella !!
Desserts here are interesting and foods are good. But the seafood on our socarrat paella is somewhat raw and I don't like uncooked meat... I'm not sure whether this is the style of Spanish or not;p
The "essential" Spanish restaurant has come up with an impossible-to-pass-up deal. Stop by for their feliz, or happy, hour on Mondays through Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Good tapas , nice windows seats , communal dinning
One if the best paellas in NYC . Book in advance, the place gets busy after 7pm.
Excellent tapas , but the star is the crispy socarrat at the bottom of the paella pan
Black paella is the best!! Looks like you're stuffing coal into your mouth but tastes amazing!
I tasted several tapas and two varieties of paella : the carne paella is superb.
Went for the 1st time last night w/ my wife, had the Paella de Carne , 2 tapas and 2 different glasses of wine - loved it all! We'll be back here soon :)
The seafood paella was life changing! The best part about the authentic food here is the crispy bottom of the pan. Yum!
They say the squid ink paella doesn't turn your mouth black. I'm willing to try but can anyone attest to that? ☻
Black rice paella is my favorite (made with cuttle fish ink) yum!
Try the arroz negro paella . It was fantastic, also great wines .
Was here for team lunch . The squid rice is awesome!
So good! Lobster paella
Get the squid ink paella
Goat cheese beet salad . Communal dining. Excellent service .
Great spot for date night , the black rice paella is HEAVENLY! - Tyler French, Hunting Season
Best paella I've ever had (and cute bartender didn't hurt either)!
Amazing!! Arroz negro, bacon wrapped dates , oaxacano, and chocolate beignets .
Amazing food! Out side seating is so cool
get the arroz negro and two pitchers of sangria .
They made us wait AN HOUR even though we reserved a table. The food was worth it though. The staff is nice.
Absolutely fantastic food. Tried the octopus, broiled swordfish & veal chops. Lipsmacking entrees and additional appetizers :) - Debanjan Dey
Great cocktails and loved the champagne bar in the ladies room! Also fabulous were the scallops and the tuna poke tacos! - Erin Connealy
Gambas al Ajillo, Dátiles con Beicon, Salteado de Setas : everything is really good here :) - Ya G
Make a reservation to be safe because its quite a cozy little spot. The Journalist did not disappoint. Love BT Gin! - Christopher Soda
Salted caramel, any of the berry-flavors, cheesecake and peanut butter are my go-to’s. Be sure to sample though as often times the machines aren’t working and the yogurt comes out liquidy or too icy. - Susana
