Codornices Park

This is a magical place for the little ones. I was one of those kids, on a field trip (in the 70's) and I will never forget the concrete slide ! I'm on a mission to revisit some of my favorite places.

The best slide in the free world. There should be an ample supply of flattened boxes for maximum tushy-friction reduction on the ride down

What's not like? The concrete slide is a unique all ages throw back. Take a stroll in the Rose Garden across the street after you and the kids get winded.

Don't worry about bringing cardboard (there's plenty on hand) and don't miss the epic slide . Suitable for kids of all ages; under 3 probably best w/ a grown up.

Awesome cement slide ! I rode it with my 2.5 y/o and it was safe, yet exhilarating:)

Be mindful of adults and teenagers waxing the slide . Makes it crazy and unsafe for littles. We had fun until this occurred.

Enormous fun concrete slide under a shady tree - take a large piece of cardboard or door mat to slide down on. Restrooms under tunnel next to rose garden . Brook to paddle in. Take scooters!

Most beautiful kids’ park . Period.

Bring a picnic ! This park has lots of picnic tables and nice grassy spots for picnics .

Great for BBQs!

Wear long pants for the slide .

The cement slides are are unique as they are terrifying. Kids can burn hours on them.

Pick up your dogs poop.

A great spot for Ultimate Frisbee !
