This park is shared by a children's daycare & playground , and also turns into an awesome dog park around 530pm. The grass is fertilized with fish emulsion, so bring a blanket to sit on!

Great, flat, open field in the center of the park (with a couple big redwood trees on the side) perfect for tossing a Frisbee or running your dog. Read more

In response to a tipster... Fleas ?! From the hippie dogs? Fleas live in the ground and then jump on the dogs. Hippie dog or not

Willard Park turns into an "unofficial dog park " after 4:30 or 5 on weekdays. During the summer, Friday late afternoons/evenings are when dog owners gather and BBQ and picnic together.

In the summer time Lululemon sponsors free cross fit and yoga classes Sunday mornings. Woo hoo!

Bring a blanket to chill on - the grass is often wet. Also, this is a perfect park for frisbees

Don't mind the people living in the redwood trees They are running a Pirate radio station , or just visiting from Santa Cruz. #howBerkeleyCanYouBe?

Awesome kids playground .

watch out for rats in the playground , particularly at dusk.

Marina Laduda

Too many hippies hanging around. Watch out, some have street dogs (with fleas !)... Daily off leash dog time at around 5-6pm is nice, but make sure your dog knows the boundaries of the park .
