Sometimes they play Band of Horses in the morning when I'm hungover and I go somewhere else. Today it's jazzy Sax and porno guitars, so, I'm perving out with my iPhone all plugged into wall all sexy.

First impressions: tiny, not much of a selection, not overly friendly , excellent chai ! I may give it a 2nd try after I try some of the other spots in the area.

Ask for hummus on your sausage , egg , and cheese everything bagel . One of my favorite sandwiches in town !

Coffee is best I’ve found in Richmond. Bagels are extra special - made to order in a cast iron skillet for a perfectly toasted and buttery bagel with your choice of toppings. Egg and cheese for me!

If you come anytime before noon, generally be prepared for a wait. The coffee is fantastic, though, and worth the few extra minutes!

The bagel sandwich (everything bagel , egg , etc.) is must. Also, four shots in a large latte ? Sign me up.

Excellent coffee . Service could be a little friendly but that's the kind of place this is.

Owner Clay Gilbert uses Central American beans for his espresso and drip coffee . He also offers an excellent selection of 30 craft beers .

When you get an English muffin breakfast sammy they automatically put it on wheat which is awesome.

Unless you're white and straight, you may not feel welcome at this coffee shop . Just letting everyone know.

Guy was a total doucher, went in, asked what was best, guy pointed at pre-made coffee , took my money, & ran back out front to sit with his friend. Beyond disappointed. (6.8.14)

Cold brew is fantastic.

Cold brew did not live up to the hype. Sour and not tasty. Not even sugar and cream could save it. Also, no bagels available at 3:30 P.M. Seems a little early

Decent coffee . Small & cozy , good vibe, good bagels . They didn't know what a cortado was though. Said they are more "dialed down". For a better overall experience go to Lamplighter .

They roast their own coffee and in this instance that is sad. Average at best. I would not come back.

Act like you know. Just ask for a bottomless.

Best dirty chai in the city , hands down. And dog friendly ! Slower service, but it's still faster than lamplighter and their coffee is really strong.
