Ahh tip no. 2. Food: Two things come to mind. One, HIPPIE GREENS. They are delicious and I often order them by themselves for a fortifying, nutritious, low cal lunch . Two, FRENCH TOAST . Yummy!
Not only is this the best coffee you'll ever have, but the food is amazing. Fresh, local ingredients and always changing. Also, the owners are some of my favorite people. Love ya Jen and Noellle!
I enjoy the ambience, it's hip ,trendy and eclectic and the stuff they serve is delicious. Go, even if you want to just people watch ! #rva #britinrva #coffee
Thai coffee ☕️ - tried something different and wasn’t disappointed. They have a lot of quirky drinks options if your looking for something different.
Go for the cappuccino , espresso , and macchiato . I hear the sandwiches are all awesome, no comment (only had two, meh)... but the coffee drinks I mentioned keep me coming back. Best in Richmond.
I always love a friendly greeting at a coffee shop . Sets the tone for the atmosphere! Thank you for the prompt and accurate service! The Asiago bagel was delicious.
Lamplighter is known for their micro-roasted coffee . Made in 10lb batches, there is a great deal of care put into their product. Their menu is stellar and most dishes can be made vegan or gluten free
For breakfast that looks as pretty as it tastes, get the parfait . Lamplighter’s own granola tops off layers of yogurt and fresh fruit , inside one of these lovely, faceted Mason jars .
I always get a bag of beans to take back home to California. They come with a free cup you can enjoy while there.
Coffee is amazing. Pastries are all quite good as well - even the croissants which look a bit sad but are lovely and crisp!
Maybe my favorite Americano in Richmond. The special sandwiches are always good, too - get the dude ranch if they have it!

The redheaded stepchild is a combination of chai and apple cider and is SUPER spicy . The mac and cheese is delicious.
Coffee was great, as was avocado toast . Good areas to sit and post up for awhile.
Their coffee is by far the best. The latte I got was fantastic
The Dragon (or regular) French toast and bacon and fruit will get you straight! and the red headed step child... Goodness
Get a Slayer with the vegan sausage . I'm not vegan , but it's maple glazed with a hint of sriracha . So dank.
I love the cometbus! And the mac and cheese , and their maple sriracha soy sausage .
Great vibes with covered outdoor seating , great coffee and neighborhood feel .
Since the menu refresh they only do a 6oz cappuccino . But this has the perfect coffee/milk ratio. No sugar required, and quite delicious.
Wonderful coffee and espresso , and a great cafe atmosphere.
Go healthy with the Step-It-Up Grilled Cheese & a side salad or go decadent with their Fluffernutter - toasted peanut butter & marshmallow fluff on bread & devil eggs Read more
Ridiculously long wait , food is ok- but nothing great. Coffee was fine. Staff were jerks. The type of overpriced artisan spot that is short on substance. Standard hipster gentrification spot.
The mint chocolate brownies are amazing!

The coffee takes you back to Seattle....just wish there were Top Pot donuts
A haven for young creatives with an addiction for the strongest coffee in the city .
Just sit back and listen. There's always a self-absorbed hipster waxing on about the importance of their being, Very entertaining.

Great local coffee , delish sandwiches
Try a cup of the LampLighter House Blend coffee or there featured medium brew. So so good.
