On a sunny day there is no better outlook. Views of Alexandra gardens and the Princes Briidge. Built into the old shipping vaults add a bit of history. Beer , wine and gourmet sausage sizzle!
The seafood related dishes are nice, recommend the cocktail as well . But the staff are just too friendly that they checked on us frequently, which gave us pressure to stay longer without refill.
Bottles of bubbles overlooking the water on a sunny day. The tart and the calamari were delicious. Fab and friendly waitstaff .
Friendly staff , great food (especially the lamb ribs , chicken breast and steak sandwich ), one thing I didn't like about the place is ordering at the bar .
Right on the Yarra river . Busy mostly in the summer. Has outdoor seating . Decent menu and range of beer wine and spirits .
One of the best places to enjoy good weather with a drink. Glasses or bottles of bubbles make it lovely summertime hang.
Great place to spend an afternoon or evening by the Yarra - plenty of food & beverage selections available.
Had a good tasting burger and a cider . Was a good deal . And: perfect located beside Yarra river
Great location, nice view and good vibe. They drive an oyster-cart around. Friendly staff
Come here for a great view if Yarra and enjoy your coffee or your beer
Love the venue but definitely need to improve their cocktail menu specially for the summer
Very enjoyable friday afternoon sitting in the winter sun (with the help of a heater). The Asahi is expensive , so i just didn't have one. Carlton Draught for me!
This is a great place. Good beer , nice views ; who cold ask for more.
Epic riverside bar , with a great atmosphere, I even wrote a blog about it :) https://socialeventsmelbourne.com.au/riverland-bar/
Find a spot in the sun as the shade can get a bit chilly
By no means a cheap drink , but well worth it on a balmy summer night in Melbourne. If such a thing still exists...
The only place I know to get mulled wine . Also, cheap Patron Coffee XO :-)
Riverland bar! best flipping cheese platter in town , it's a must get! personal fav. blue goats cheese , walnut and fig on a cheeky cracker.. mmm!
great outdoor setting , food is delicious but the drinks are way overpriced, $15 for a pint of Asahi ?!
Great location and great breakfasts . There's better lunches on fed square though.
Get a pint of asahi , it's a bargain at $15, buy one in japan and you're looking at ¥1200..
Spiced lamb sausage and a pot of Carlton 10$.
Get the duck and pistachio sausage and a glass of champagne , and watch the cyclists run over the pedestrians on the yarra
Breakfast on the weekends is excellent but be warned: they don't do variations on their menu. Service is decidedly average.
Try the mulled wine . Steamy warm and nourishing on a cold night :) delicious yummm
Great for a post bike-rental ride drink.
Don't have a pot of Asahi - $8.50 is daylight robberry. Do go for breakfast /coffee meetings with guests from out of town in summer.
Get ripped off on pints, you can drink cheaper else where
Grab a snag and VB grenade at their outdoor BBQ . Read more
Nice place to relax :D
The best sausages and beer . Great after a game at MCG. Shhh... Don't tell anyone!
Riverland you need to get yourself some craft beers
Pot of Asahi $9!! Burning holes in the wallet
They don't do variations on the breakfasts .
No vegetarian ciabatta rolls.
Hey guys. Should I buy a pint of Asahi ?
'no changes to pizza orders'... Yeah, because it's hard work to leave off an ingredient when making pizza .
The pork belly bites are the perfect balance of sweet and spicy .
The best freedom
Overpriced beers , but can't beat the atmosphere in Summer
Wow the Asahi is overpriced!!
have a pint of asahi you povos.
everybody needs to buy @whoispauly a drink tonight. farewell after 13 years.
Asahi is too expensive here $8.50 pot $15 pint WTH
Expensive pints, even for Melbourne.
Don't buy a pint of Asahi . It's overpriced at $15!!
Manque de place et les boisons (non-alcolisées) sont trop petite. Il mette la moitié de glaçon dans le verre et le reste de jus ou sodas . Bien pour les bière mais horrible pour le reste.
Ottimi panini al barbecue
Fantastic hidden beer garden! One of Melbourne’s best. - Jonathon Ryan

Great venue!! Best in the world in fact, overpriced food but worth it for the experience - Tyler Hoogwerf
The improvements made here in recent years are fantastic. Padded seating, renovated bathrooms and spacious lobby areas. - Nigel
