This is one of the most known restaurants for tourist here in Lisbon , and me being a Portuguese... It really is a very good restaurant ! The staff is ultra qualified, the food is very good! Enjoy it!
supertasty food! i recommend seafood . note that bring your appetite as the main course portions are big. oh and the service is fantastically smooth even during full house. totally worth a try!
Snacks on table wasn’t good because it wasn’t fresh...oysters and paella , wine was really tasty. The service felt a little messy but still professional. It was my birthday, I was happy :)
Try the clams - Buhalto Pato style, and the octopus salad for starters. Then Seafood paella for two. Pair it with a "green wine ". The lobster here is, dare I say, better than in New England.
What a fantastic place. Super fresh food ! All seafood is kept in tanks alive, they take it to you so you can see the product before they cook it. The energy in the place is super positive and happy!
Enjoy Octopus with paprika and oil, octopus salad , clams and good wine in this nostalgically decorated spot on a quiet street. Avoid bachalau (cod ).
Service is a little tight - lipped but still cordial. You can't go wrong with Octopus a Galega and the Black Pork main. Paella for 2 has decent value though slightly salty. I'd recommend this place.
With help from the concierge at our hotel , we were sat all the way at the top of the restaurant and were given not only bread , but cured meats and olives to start with! Seafood is a MUST. Obrigada!
My favourite restaurant of all times. The staff is helpful and very nice. The menu is full of excellent dishes and worth the visit due to its interior decoration :)
Traditional restaurant with great food and service. You'll pay more than in other places but you won't regret it. The appetizers are really good! You can't go wrong here!!
Very traditional restaurant in Lisbon downtown. My favorites are Octopus a lagareiro and the roasted lamb with potatoes .
traditional menu with cod . nice, but I would have better tried the smoked salted version. dont miss the chocolate cake , this is stg extra special
Seafood or steak , you won’t make a mistake! Very popular restaurant , a bit pricey , but worth it. Great and friendly staff . ????????
Everything looks appetising , tried cod pasties, garlic prawns and Lavagante lobster rice shelled and cooked to order superb can recommend.
Sea bream , salad , lobster with rice , the bread , the cheese , the wine , the table, the spoon... Just eat and massage your belly :D
The green wine is quite nice. The clams are delicious if a little bit pricey . Didn’t love the olives , cheese and meat were already out on the table.
Eater: Solar dos Presuntos looks like a tourist trap, but it isn’t. The downtown restaurant is a good place for grilled fish & meat & Portuguese traditional dishes .
The food is good but the atmosphere is horrible. A TV set showing photos of famous people... So cheesy!! Argh!!
Definitely get the octopus appetizers . Ok to skip the mutton .
The blue lobster and rice was super good! Awesome service and Piti Piti sauce!
Simply brilliant all seafood , service, wine and cloud desert !
A bit overpromoted and overpriced. The octopus was fantastic but the cod is difficult to digest: too heavy. The chocolate "o Melhor do mundo" is not realmente the best
Almost only locals eat here and you can feel the heartbeat of the city . Great seafood and atmosphere!
Quite an institution. The service is amazing, and the food is good, even if unexceptional.
One of Lisboa most famous restaurants . Best cuisine you will find in the city . Legends have eaten here.
Octopus , Portuguese lobster !!!!!!! To die for lobsters . No joke.
Michelin was right :)) it does worth a visit! 'lampreia ' is awesome!! Don't look at it before it's cooked, just try it ;)
Get the Pera manca white wine , the bottle is around $30 and it goes very well with the Bacalhau. Excellent!
Large restaurant with delicious local food.
The best Minho food in town . Try "lampreia " and "peixe ao sal". Ask for Pedro, the manager, and you will have great moments.
Surf and turf Portuguese style. Presunto to start. Unique lobster paella .
Amazing fresh fish and seafood , fantastic wines , good vibe
Lively , romantic & good for dates spot
Excellent and well served food, The Darth Vader or Arroz Negro it's delicious
Delicious food, good service and nice atmosphere
you not need pay so much. they (as mostly) not really have "cooking" abilities. it just depends on quality of ingredients. and this can find cheaper
Food is slightly better than average, but this is the classic example of a place that is simply milking its reputation. Not to mention charging for unordered food that was already drying on the table
Here you can be sure of always having good quality portuguese Food ! Safe value
Great for large group of friends with a good appetite
Very good food with a very pleasant service .
Octopus grill, tiger prawns are amazing
The Best Traditional Portuguese food served in Lisbon .
One of the best restaurants in town . Good overall.
Good interier and delicious food
I ordered the lobster and shrimp rice . My seafood rice was alright but unfortunately two hours after eating the dish, I had to vomit and was doing so for the next two days on my trip.
Must order grilled octopus ! Nothing like it in the world!
Make sure you reserve a table before you go
Seafood amazing and pork leg
Consistent excellent food - highly recommended
Lobster paella . The best in Lisbon .
Amazing service, you have to book but they can probably get you in if you come before 8! Entrecôte sea bass were delicious! ???? - ????
