Kosher dishes incl. fried veggies like carciofi alla giudia (deep fried artichokes ), pezzetti fritti (battered vegetables ), humble fish offerings like alicotti con l’indivia (anchovy frisee casserole )

Good food, good service , comfortable and clean . Even has set lunch which is good value for money . If it was good enough for the late Anthony Bourdain , its good enough for me. Thats a lot of 'good' :)

Enjoyed the cod (VERY rich), artichoke , meatballs , and the carbonara . Gnocchi was less enjoyable. Service was quirky? Make a reservation if you want better seating.

Great place, classic homestyle local food, clean , affordable and friendly staff . We had a great time, the lamb and mixed antipasti platter with artichokes and stuffed pumpkin flowers were amazing!

I went here because the place has quite a "buzz" and I wasn't disappointed. The savory dishes were a true delight and the experience was wonderful. I'm going again to make sure it wasn't just a dream.

The gnocchi with lamb ragu , the artichoke lasagna , the pasta with artichoke sauce and the artichoke fried were all delicious. Great service. Very pleasant.

What can I say? It's an institution in the Roman Jewish Ghetto and it's terrific! A "must" if you are in the area and haven't tried it.

Everybody seems to come here for the artichokes , but you can also take an excellent codfish .

Perfect homemade tiramisu and home wine . Old and traditional place in the very centre of Roma. Recommended!

In the Jewish ghetto ; great fried zucchini blossoms and grilled sea bass .

Typical roman Jewish cuisine. Excellent service , quick and efficient. Must try!

Artichoke carbonara was great

The service was shouting at each other, the dessert was quickly microwaved and still cold and the only Italians just looked depressed. Pasta with artichoke sauce was good, but didn't make up for it.

Carciofo!! Delicious simplicity!

Probably a good idea to tip here if you're a CEO of a company that just floated for hundreds of billions of dollars. Take note Zuckerberg

Carbonara Jewish style and fried artichoke ! Hostess was rude because we didn't have reservations but waiters were nice.

If you are coming alone don't. They kept me waiting for 15 minutes while letting people in who just came there. They are not in food business, they are just in money business

Good food, but the toilet is a real disaster. What a shame to spoil the experience in such silly way.

Very average food and service. Had a food poisoning after eating pasta with ragu .

The menu reads amazing and I was so excited but it all had no flavour, texture or colour, was overcooked, greasy, or cold. The service was ungracious. Fell in a tourist/4square trap? Was a shame!

Filthy place with small portions and average oversalted food. And toilet looked (and smelled) like nobody was ever cleaning it. No idea why is this place rated so high.

The best thing about this place is the wi-fi.

Ottimo ristorante ebraico , da provare tutti i piatti con i carciofi che sono fantastici! Soprattutto i carciofi alla giudia , enormi e goduriosi... Il personale è simpatico e accogliente , come a casa

Cucina kosher style nel quartiere ebraico. Consigliatissimo! Assaggiate i carciofi alla giudìa e non ve ne pentirete ;-)

Нонна Бетта славится своими блюдами из артишоков и морепродуктов . Попробуйте ароматный фалафель и артишоки "по-еврейски", очень вкусное ризотто с сыром и лососем . Порции большие, цены демократичные)

Οι τηγανητές αγγινάρες και οι κολοκυθοανθοί μέσα στη λαδίλα ! Οι κεφτέδες σε ντομάτα δεν τρώγονταν! Το κρέας μύριζε! Πολυδιαφημισμένο αλλά υπερτιμημένο !!!
