My favorite place in all of Rome! Some 2000 years old and still kicking! Spring for an audio tour to get the full experience, stop by Raphael 's tomb and admire the amazing engineering ! ????????????
This structure is fascinating and incredible. It was built almost 2,000 years ago... wrap your brain around that. Amazing. The oculus is remarkable — a cool experience should it start to rain.
Beautiful! No fee for tickets, but make sure there isn't a mass going on, they may have the public leave early. It is now a church . At night when it is closed it is also very energetic with people
The piazza is small but nice. Pantheon church doesn't require any tickets. I strongly recommend Di Rienzo restaurant for their Pomodoro spaghetti & Capatchino
Pantheon! This place is a must visit! It was built in 126 AD. More precisely, then there was its reconstruction. Before reconstruction it stood for two centuries!
Seeing it in person there are no words. I’m a gamer and I’ve played Assassin’s creed based in Rome and got to climb the Pantheon but seeing its enormity in person was awe inspiring.
Great free thing to do! Remember to stay silent, it is a sacred place. Whatever your beliefs, do it out of respect. Take your time to enjoy the beauty of the architecture and the art details!
Free and the line moves quickly. Special note to women: your shoulders must be covered to go inside so bring something to coverup in your bag or you will be denied entry.
A must on your list of a tour in rome! Breathtaking!! Come around noon or at dusk & enjoy coffee/gelato from any of the cafés around it. The buzz of ppl around it makes it very ❤️
In a city full of amazing architecture , Pantheon is the top of the top. A wonder, a place of inner tranquility, and endless awe. (See tombs of Rafaello and King Vittorio Emanuele II inside.)
Amazing! It was my favourite site in Rome. Don't need more than 15-20 minutes inside, but spend time in the piazza and take it all in early in the morning over a cappuccino !
free entrance, go during the day to see the sun shine through the oculus , get lost in the neighborhood . be aware of all the tourist traps, it is a tourist attraction as is everything else near by.
Alexander VII Chigi restored the ancient temple , where in its bricked-up portico vendors had their stalls. Also he laid the piazza below the portico, because the temple had 'sunken' below street level
Amazing architecture ! The dome is shocking! Being inside is so charming that I indeed did not want to leave... Even crowded inside it is somehow inspiring inside peace .. Indeed a masterpiece...
One of Rome’s most ancient buildings, the Pantheon was built for none other than the Roman Gods themselves. It features a lot of Rome’s history and is truly a majestic place to visit. Read more
Antic temple of the Seven Gods, rebuilt by emperor Hadrian in 126 AD; currently a church . Famous for its large dome, it's the oldest brick building in the world, still having the original roofing ????
Definitely worth a visit. Free to enter. Head there in the early morning as it’s usually much quieter .
This is where the queen Margherita who inspired the flavor of our today's Margarita pizza rests, also a very famous artist of the renaissance rests at the pantheon. Go visit it its worth it .
The line moves really quick! Must visit and feel the interior. Fascinating to see the the world's largest unreinforced concrete dome, even after 2000 years!
My favorite spot in all of Rome. It's a 2000 year-old awe-inspiring structure with a self sustaining dome. Originally built by Agrippa as seen on the facade 42 BC, later rebuilt by Hadrian circa 100 AD
Pantheon is a monument you need to see at least once in your lifetime. After your visit enjoy Pantheon from outside, get a nearby table.
Located at a charming square where people may or may not talk their peace or just perform for tips. The entrance is free. Go see it and before going in download rick stevens walking tour .
Get your ticket online to skip the line .
The dome remains the world's largest unreinforced concrete dome, almost 2000 years after it was built! Take a selfie with the oculus as backdrop or stand directly beneath it to create a photo sphere!
In company of the Gods and Martyrs. The dome's diameter (hemisphere) and the length of the Pantheon are equal. A marvel in itself. The dome used to be world's largest.
The Pantheon is the best preserved ancient building in Rome ! One of the best monument to visit !
The dome will take your breath away so you stop inside its free to go into its amazing the big doors how this was built now.
this is the best preserved building from ancient rome and it does not disappoint. i could stand there and stare at the ceiling all day.
Bus tours do not drive through here, but it is definitely a must-see before leaving Rome! Don't forget to stop by Raphael 's tomb and pay your respects!
If you can, go in the morning or evening when the sun casts a stream of light directly through the iris. Or in the rain to see the 2000 year plumbing in action.
Wait long enough, and you’ll see every tourist in Rome. But, with that said, it’s a stunning building both within and without.
Impressive old monument . It’s crazy to think this has been here for 2000 years. Impressive dome with a central hole 9m wide
Breathtaking you should see the interior ????❤️ went early in the morning so wasn’t crowded as after 10 am
A hidden oasis in the middle of the city . Take some time to wander around the piazza, maybe even grab a gelato from one of the many shops nearby.
I visited this place at night, it was so magical ! cafes and restaurants around adds a lot to the atmosphere at night.
If you're looking for an authentic bite nearby, hit up Armando al Pantheon. It's completely legit and usually devoid of tourists . Reservations are a good idea, but it never hurts to try.
Pantheon is one of the most popular attractions in Rome , Free to go in beautiful from inside !
Mmm oat beautiful place ever. Peaceful and serene, some place for solace. There are many people here but you can find time for a prayer. Must see
A true architectural achievement. You’ll also find Rafaello (Rafael), Victor Emmanuel II and his son Bonito I entombed here.

If you only visit one place in Rome make sure this is it. For 2000 years this has been the largest free standing concrete structure in the world.
The most beautiful Pantheon in the entire world! And the Piazza della Rotonda is probably the most beautiful in Rome! Btw, don't forget to check Piazza della Minerva.
Don't miss it. It's located on one of the most lively piazzas and it's gorgeous. One of my favorites in Rome.
Impressive church . The entry is free, so the line is moving very fast.
Very cool architect, one of the coolest buildings to visit in Rome and take pictures.
And not to miss place during any visit to Rome. The lines can be long but for the history it is worth it.
This is my favorite piazza in Rome after spending 10 days here. It's very intimate with the impressive timeless Pantheon in a reasonable sized piazza (not full of tourists ).
The Pantheon is the best-preserved ancient building in Rome. It was built (and possibly designed) by Hadrian in AD 119-128 as a temple to the 12 most important classical deities.

Another collection of Christian iconography in an old building. - Ali Latifi
Impressive monument. During the summer it’s getting very hot at the piazza, so be clever and bring numerous bottles of cold water. - Anders Villum
It's a great Museum. Probably one of the best organized museums ever. Go to the rooftop and order yourself a nice coffee after visiting the museum. Discuss what you've seen with friends. Enjoy Life. - Squirrly
Cool place made famous by the movie 'Roman Holiday', but expect it to be touristy and with a long queue to take a picture with it - Margherita B.
