Built into a narrow, long town house and former hotel , it's in the same style as Penang architecture . The furniture is arranged to fit as quite snugly. Careful not to brush against the course wall!
Aglio Olio with Roast Duck tasted great with a hint of spice. Drink options are limited if you don't drink coffee , just pots of tea which are a bit more expensive . Free water available though.
The staff are very friendly and attentive. I tried their duck rice and Aglio Olio , well balanced and taste good. Very nice presentation. Some of the menu are a bit overpriced.
A refreshing take on local cuisine , treating every ingredient w lots of respect. Wth do I mean by that? Means u have to come here & order the jackfruit salad , cured mackerel potato , biangbiang noodles
Good food. Cool space with a raw and rustic ambiance.
Nice place! Unusual menu. Order & pay at the counter. Food is fresh & good, try the fish & rice dish, & pesto noodles . Very Instagrammable too. Chinese hipster haven but don't let that put you off.
Must try CFC (RM26 on the menu). The sauce is extraordinary, perfect with the fried chicken ! The interior of the shop is very unique as it brings back old memories.
One of my favorite cafe , although this is my first time vist, vegetarian friendly here, and the taste of food is really super nice to me ✨
Great food and relaxing atmosphere in a beautiful old building ! All the dishes tasted extraordinary and had a great sense for details. Staff was also very friendly .
Try the Ulam Stew Barley Rice , very unique bowl of food there for brunch . Pot of teas from HOJO or coffee to chill .
Great little restaurant with a big variety of coffee , tea and food. No softdrinks. Trendy industrial interior. The Bang Bang Chicken is spicy and very nice!
Love the food creation here. Simple, unpretentious and yet flavorful. You'll be surprised how tasty it is, for a simple bowl of Biang Biang flat noodles .
The CFC is crispy ,tender & juicy at the same time. The cincalok is on the mild side tho.The Biang Biang noodles has an interesting twist with peanuts as part of the ingredients.Fusion dishes done well .
Ordered the squid head based on the their recommendation, and loved this dish the most. Also tried the CFC, but found the chicken a tad on the salty side probably from the cincalok .
Ambience and food is comfortable and palatable. Recommend the egg , ulam rice and the mushroom egg .
Duck rendang hummus , barramundi and the ulam raja creme brûlée are the go to items here. Wash it down with the house rose . Heritage vibe mixed with a creative menu.
Ordered the Cured Fish Rice - the pan-seared mackerel was overly salty and overpowering. I felt like I was eating rice with (a lot of) salty fish instead ???? Not worth it for RM32 a bowl.
Great food, though pricy for KL. Beautiful interior with original walls. Go upstairs to the bar .
They serve good food and coffee ! If you like spicy food , I would suggest you to the Biang Biang Inspired Noodle !
Duck Rillettes. Oriental Spiced Chicken . Cured Fish Rice . Chocolate Meringue . Brachetto d'Acqui. Masseria Lively .
Shit service by the locals. Reluctantly helped us get a table, didn’t tell us the the kitchen time, brought the lunch menu when it’s dinner . The Philippine lady was very sweet and attentive though.
Great atmosphere here. Food is quite special it's fusion between modern and traditional food . Not cheap though
Darjeeling Auturnal Red Thunder is the real thing here. All the other food menu has some real identity crisis. Don't park opposite the shop, my car got towed away. -Penang Kia Food Critique-
Prices are on the high side. Very special environment, so old and run down decor....seem to be trending around Petaling Streets cafes lately. More suitable for deep pockets customers.
Good place for hang out with friends and very nostalgic ambient. Didn't manage to try their food but the coffee is okay. Will be back again for more.
Sophisticated price foods & Variety high quality chinese Red/Black/Oolong Tea (cold & hot).
A little disguised since there is no sign outside. Look for this shop front (used to be a hotel ).
Creative menu, price is not cheap , old styled cafe deco, lots of indoor plants and wood furniture . Tea RM16
Botak liquor ???? Unique drinks and with equally unique prices ????
The food is unique! If you are looking for something more than the average taste, here is the place!
Somewhat similar to Merchant's Lane in decor and a little so in menu as well . The dishes are contemporary with a local twist
Great squid and chunks of poultry , free refill hot water for tea . Great spot, worth visiting.
Duck rice is quite unique
Interior, Food, Presentation - master lvl of experience design ! 細細品味生活的好地方
We enjoyed the CFC, spicy Chinese type noodles and the ulam creme brulee . Eggplant was bland and ceviche mediocre. But really nice place.
Tried the Aglio Olio duck which was great just that the chef put too much of lemongrass on mine that day...
Interesting fusion of old school tastes and modern touches. Beautiful place.
Fresh ingredients , well cooked food, and perfect blend of teas !
The environment is nice. He place is a restored old house. It has a heritage style.
I have mixed feelings about this place. Good environment, decent food (if you're into fusion) but it's quite pricey . Portion aren't that big too. But good coffee though.
Cozy & nice atmosphere spot.....
The food is pretty good but it's kinda pricy , the duck rice is RM25
Food is kinda fusion type.. Quite special..
Biang biang flat noodle and Duck Confit Rice is a no no. Duck was tough, and look at the amount of oil in my noodle ????
Not really friendly thou :/ Food is okay. The duck that took 40 mins to serve, yea the duck skin was good, but the meat is tooooooo hard to chew!!!! But the eggplant Belado is nice!
Have to order and pay at the counter which is not ideal when there are a group of you at dinner . CCK did not have any cincalok taste at all.
Ok the fish rice bowl is tasteless hipster rubbish & they couldn't serve coffee at lunchtime because "the barista" wasn't in . But has no one else noticed that this place is named after ladyparts?
Quiet and cool environment, staffs are friendly too. Food is mediocre.
Love the zen
Coffee & foods
