Another favorite local hiking trail ! It's a reverse trail where you need more energy to hike back up once you reach the bottom. A great workout! Make sure to finish early before sundown!
It is a breathtaking hike ... On the way back to north ridge parking lot - the 0.3 mile route is really steep (specially if you are carrying a baby ;))
Visit the mighty California Redwoods . The 3-mile Monte Bello loop takes you through diverse ecosystems -keep your eye out for wildlife roaming the land.
It's totally opposite to what normal treks, starts with a descend with lots of up n downs throughout..nice experience
Starting on Skyline and descending into the canyon is among the prettiest hikes on the Peninsula
Bring hiking poles! They help on hills this steep .
Amazing trail , really enjoyed the hike
Really love this place. It has redwood forest and also ocean view .
Great views of Half Moon Bay and hills that will kick your ass
Great hike . One of my favorite hike in bay area. It's so green and beautiful.
Arrive early, hop on your MTB and start the day #right@
Remember coming back uphill is not going to be easy
It starts off downhill so be prepared on your way back
Super hilly but pretty hike
This is the back end of Purisima Creek redwood open space preserve. Its a drop in trail. Conserve energy for the return hike. - Christopher Holtorf
Very little shade so bring a hat, sunscreen, and lots of water. Beautiful hike with great views. - _
Beautiful hike.. Starting downhill and going up was a bit brutal.. Very quiet and less packed than most.. - Jenifer Bazzani
This place is BIG! And with trails with a lot of tree coverage, it's a good place to go when it's super sunny out. Also great place to picnic. Plan to spend some time as there is an entrance fee. - Suzy Coleman
Great atmosphere and view and the food is of course, incredible. Nicest part for me and my family was in an area where they charge 15$ to park and walk the beach, was seeing the ocean for free - Kelly Moya
