An array of Malay/Chinese/Indian arts and crafts in a bazaar style. The sellers are more polite and friendlier compared 2 ChinaTown . Parking is limited and isn't cheap . RM3 1st hr, Rm2 subsequent hr.
Always love to see and buy goodies around here. Good quality Pashmina shawls which you won't get ripped off is available opposite the side entrance of Pasar Seni. I went comparing prices and quality.
Old market nostalgia, and obviously touristy and commercial. But it's quiet and airconditioned for a place to kill time for awhile, and great place to start for the surrounding areas which are cool
There's a fair amount of shopping options here and the prices are better than what's quoted initially on Petaling St. Cheap eats on the second floor food court .
Always try bargaining when buying souvenirs . There's also a great shop anime-based Penang art pictures and Borneo pearl shop. Anyway, the best place for final day on a Malaysian vacation.
Tip: GO KL & KL HOP ON HOP OFF buses stops at the station right opposite of Central Market . For authentic local food, walk along Kasturi walk on the side of the market .

It's nice and clean . Much easier to deal with than #ChinaTown lots of different types of shops and eating places. I prefer this to China Town
There is a fruit shop on Ground flr at the furthest left in called Fresh n' Best that sells good local fruits bite sizes. Rojak Buah here is good but a bit spicy . Make sure you ask for less spicy !

An air-conditioned tourist trap. Full of over-priced trinkets you don't need. Here every tourist is a sucker soon to be separated from his $. Upstairs food court is more close to actual local prices.
If u're planning to catch 'Teksi' (taxi ) back to your hotel , make sure u negotiate price w cab driver b4hand. My ride back costs about 8-10RM, Cab driver wanted 20RM, we negotiated 15RM. #touristTIP
