One of the best Manhattans I've ever had. Food-wise: If they have them, try the fried cauliflower and steak tartare . Perfectly constructed (or deconstructed, in the case of the tartare ).

Very stylish spot. The menu might seem strange, but eat everything because it's all delicious. Or just stick with a Borough burger !

No TV 's at the bar (yay!). Nice, warm, intimate lighting. Lively , yet cozy . Loft feel. Rustic meets metro. Look at the chalkboard as the bar has no branded tap handles... definitely a nice touch.

Absolutely try the Borough Burger . It's billed as "no condiments necessary" and that is the truth - it's packed with so much flavor. Great atmosphere and vibes all around.

Try the chicken roulade , filled with smoky chicken liver and rolled in crispy breadcrumbs . It's served with braised mustard greens , a gently cooked egg , mashed potatoes & watermelon radishes .

Try the soup !! Order a combo of small, medium, and large plates, but be careful - you fill up fast and it's pricey . Great service all around, especially Yusef! The bar at the front is stellar!

Pushing octopus on people sounds like a cruel joke to many, but after you try the octopus appetizer you'll be wishing people pushed it on you a long time ago.

AMAZING! Scallops melt in your mouth, strip you can cut with a butter knife and margarita desert is perfect combination if sweet and tart .

Great wine by the glass list pairs well with small plates . Definitely try the octopus and quail .

Should probably warn people it's more of a lunch , speed date atmosphere with tables on top of each other versus an intimate place with privacy. Nice view with large windows though.

Tartare is all right, but it isn't worth the price. It's minuscule. You can go to 112 eatery and for the same price you get Wayy more deliciousness.

Champagne & Potato soup is excellent. Don't be scared of the octopus tentacle , the reduction sauce is dream-worthy.
