This is a very popular place, when we stopped by to eat there was a line out of the door. But you still get a place fast. The staff are super nice and always willing to help you. Would recommend a lot

Frito pie was amazing, fried Pickle spears are even better. Great service that was fast and friendly . Almost too friendly .

Cincinnati style chili ! I had the vegetarian chili , which isn't as good as the rice and beans chili at Skyline, but it's not bad.

The taster is awesome. My favorite is Texas. Yogurt is not mine, picky kid eater!

Cincinnati (bit sweet) and Terlingua (bit spicy ) are the two better flavors over other chili flavors.

Excellent! Tourist staying at a local hotel stopped in here! Great food and service. Try the frito pie . Could not recommend more for a good cheap eat.

This place has the best homemade root beer and chili . Every time I come visit D.C., I just have to come here.

Pros: Free chili sampler , free cornbread , prompt service . Cons: chili and spaghetti are very subpar (spaghetti is so bland)

Sometimes they have a sign up on your table to leave your info and they'll give you something for free!

They're known for their Chili Mac , but go for the Chili Bubba - the corn bread is a great touch!

If you don't want a lot of oil/grease in your chili (especially the Texas kind) order it "dry"!

The server kept my ciders a commin, hard to beat the old bay wings and slammin down a few Angry Orchard

We ordered chili cheese burger & hard times chili dog to split. Everything was dry & not even room temperature, like they've been sitting out for awhile. More reason to cook & eat at home.

Forget the Chili Mac . . . the noodles are lifeless. Opt for the Coney Dogs instead -- one with Cincinnatti, one with Texas dry. Get a big sweet tea or a Dogfish Head or Heavy Seas beer .

One of the few honest dives left in DC (well , northern VA).

So-so experience. Texas chicken sandwich had tiny piece o chicken , fresh bun but toasted would have been better. Spicy ribs were not spict but meat was good quality. Russian waitress was really nice.
